Really it just seems a more advanced approach to blocking and understanding of the meta game. You can't hold down back 100% of the time in ASW games, but since any overhead attacks are so much slower than lows that anything that comes out later than 5 or 6 or however many frames is an overhead. So you only have to block low for those few frames before switching over to blocking high.Yeah those are basic defensive OSes. There are optional layers to it but seriously, it's real simple.
Yeah thats true. I really don't know whats going on with reddit stuff, nor do i really want to know lol. But its obvious this whole private sub thing is just a joke.
Kappa is the most popular FGC related sub, probably the most popular fighting game related sub. Despite the sub count, /r/fighters and /r/streetfighter don't get much traffic.
but really they got rid of FGCDrMike as mod, the fuck is with that

Being able to auto pilot a high low mix up like that might be a bit braindead at a low level. But I don't see how that's different from studying frame data and understanding whats an absolutely safe attack, poke, string, whatever. Not to mention it will only work on someone auto piloting their pressure as well, which is what fighting games seem to be all about as in penalizing a predictable player.
Edit: I don't see how any decent player isn't doing this while playing.
People like train wrecks and gossip, who knew
I thought Mike was the head mod and had immunity from that?
Yup. It's funny.i'm pretty sure the lead mod of r/kappa is just playing a prank on them. don't take this too seriously
Well I guess that's GG, they do mention that jump input can be added as an extra input but don't actually make you practice it. In whatever limited situations they present you with, you don't need more than varying your block height. But that's kind of the point of the missions, they are just there to put you into situations and make you think about how to deal with them and what are your options. Venom's billiard ball hell is my new personal nightmare.Doing "rhythm blocking" vs high/low isn't in and of itself an OS. Layering another input like jump into it is

Who is the lead mod? I thought it was mike
smh @ the hate towards r/kappa. Whatever you may think about the community they're helping strong players travel which makes every tournament more hype.
thats just stream monsters acting in their own self-interest
Which is bad because...?
It's not bad, its just that motivation is entirely selfish. It's not purely altruistic.

Absolutely nothing is purely altruistic. Also lol at Rand lingo
So what? If there's a benefit, does it matter what the motivations are?
In b4 Immanuel Kant
Bullshit
/r/Kappa is current being reviewed, thank you for your patience.

Tokio: It's State of Utah, Salt Lake City, 801 Strider. That's how I call him. Even Strider's friends' from Utah was calling him that way.
Kazunoko: I don't believe you.
Mago: Yeah they were saying that.
Give examples right now, find an example of something where someone does a positive act without receiving anything positive to themselves including self satisfaction in doing that action
Nobody seeks out self-satisfaction when giving to charity, lol. Nobody says "I'm going to do this so I can get endorphins to my brain" when donating to a good cause. People aren't robots. People give to charity out of pure altruism all the time. Only a fucking cylon would think otherwise.
Momochi lost to Smug in TOPANGA WORLD so he was studying him but "I can't understand what he was thinking."
edit@count: I can't. If you're going tell Ian and Gary I say what's up though
Are you insane? You think someone gets zero satisfaction in knowing they did the right thing to help a cause?

Read the post. I'm saying they don't seek out that satisfaction as a motivating factor.
