I knew he was a programmer, but I didn't realize how many games he worked with hands-on. The industry was lucky to have someone like him.
I didn't know the WiiU can scan QR codes. Do I just turn the GamePad's inward-facing camera toward the code while in the Mii Maker?Probably already been posted but I'm currently doing this:

Already seen a few others doing it. Would be cool to see some more.

I've been donating to cancer research charities every month for the past 2 years or so and for anyone who has a few extra pounds or dollars lying around each month then it's always worth looking in to.

Fuck cancer and together it will be beaten. Let's just make that sooner rather than later everyone. I'm not sure what the main research charities are in the USA, Europe and Asia, but if anyone could post a link then please do.
Thanks.
Damn, he looked horrible... Poor guy. One of my friends replied to a post I made on FB about his passing and said that bile duct growths are very treatable. If that's the case, I wonder why he/they didn't do more as far as treatment goes.
Such a great man, gone way too soon.![]()
I didn't know that's a thing, either!Maybe your supposed to scan it with 3DS then transfer

LOL. Iwata taking it like a champ.
For the new page, donate so we can beat cancer sooner rather than later.

A few dollars a month or a one time donation from many of us can go a long way.
Sure, PETA, what a tribute those games were:

Let's not sit back and accept it taking away the people we love so early.
Even PETA put up a nice tribute to Mr. Iwata.

Specifically, this is what Iwata had: http://cholangiocarcinoma.org/
Consider donating for the less well-known types of cancer that are no less deadly or painful.

The sentiment is quite nice, it was just a bit too overdone with the self-promotion of their parody games. Either way, it's nice to see so many non-gaming outlets and companies so affected by Iwata and his death. It's really a testament to him and the company he ran.
Saw this and it made me sad

Like, there won't be anymore Nintendo Directs or E3s with him. We won't see him unveil NX, or the Nintendo DeNA partnership games, or QOL.
None of it. He's just gone
How the heck do you transfer from the 3DS to your Wii U the Miis?
You can't scan QR codes with the Wii U so you do have to transfer it from a 3DS.

I'm still shocked by this news. It hasn't even begun settling in.

Fun tidbit, but why bring this up now?So when Kamiya was giving his Wonderful 101 Direct, Iwata told him he should making it jokingly as if he were Iwata hosting a general direct. So Kamiya did exactly that, dressing in a suit, and introducing every aspect of Wonderful 101 as if it were its own game, complete with release date at the end.
