It shouldn't be a big deal because no one will know what YP is unless they already know... Or read that twitter conversation. But in reality, porn ads on a stream watched by kids is a big red flag for sponsors.

SF4 is a game where a character matchup can very heavily dictate your playstyle at higher levels. In some other games such as Tekken, the choice of how you play at higher levels is more dependent on your style and your command of universal mechanics. Where do you believe SF5 falls on this spectrum? Why?

Or:

If player 1 neutral jumps and player 2 whiffs a standing throw at the same time, can P1 come down with a full combo? If not, can it be done with anticipation, by neutral jumping right before P2 wakes up from a knockdown?

i think actually having ads is a big nono, YP is vague enough and honestly if the guy is on his matches probably wont last more then 4 minutes.

Yes and no. At big, tournaments with big sponsors and an official atmosphere, PM will never see the light of day, but It still has a grassroots presence the way Smash did before now.

Ask about their approach toward execution heavy stuff, can we expect any Viper-ish character/s?

Karst could use an arduino and program two joystick inputs to reach the PCB when two simultaneous punch buttons are pressed, or assign the command to an unused 7th or 8th button.

Bit of an investment, and probably illegal, but...

Basically this tournament had no date ever since it was announced. Well they finally announced it and it's in two and half weeks and is on a Friday(just two weeks after the first day of EVO). It's not as bad as what the Brazilians were trying to do, but it's still pretty bad. Really short notice and not even on a actual weekend. which makes it just a tad more difficult since you're going to need to spend an extra vacation day.

You can get a dash on a hitbox by holding forward then tapping back or vice versa so maybe that'd be a nice middle ground for you karst. It's p. Neat.

God knows what they had to go through if it was announced this late. I doubt this is something they did intentionally to hurt their number of attendees and more of "its out of our power at the moment." Lets see if Capcom issues a statement.
