Fighting Games Weekly | July 13-19 | Stream Monster Yearly: Evolution 2015

I'm on the west coast and for some reason I woke up at 1 am. I tried sleeping until 5 am and I just gave up. I really could have used more hours seeing as SF4 is all day today.

In Sweden and woke up 10hrs ago thinking it would start 10hrs from now and i could take a nap and watch most of the pools for Tekken 7 and Ultra. I'll try to power through still.

Pepeday: ...I was going to arcades to play Gundam vs. Gundam

Pepeday: I’d like to play with my friends again sometime, but I don’t think I’m going to get too serious about it. (laughs)

Shouta get this man to the FB set up on saturday! Or whenever they are running casuals.

The entire interview is actually pretty great. It really continues to give off the impression that he is just another player who likes the game. "How did you get so good?" "Oh I just played a lot, its fun!"

The yatagarasu setup is loud as fuck. The 2p side is next to a speaker for the music, people were yelling to speak to me and i find that hilarious for some reason.

I'm a 9 to 5 and 7am is early as hell for me. Then again I get out of bed at 830am most the time.

it takes a lot of grooming to look this sharp

I miss my strawberries ;__;

Thanks I'll give this a watch.

Yeah looking up how the mechanics work is probably a good idea, I have no idea what any of those words mean. I'm not even sure how to read the instructions the game has for characters move sets.

That is what you want to dig into. It's not terribly heavy reading, but probably the best introduction to the genre I've come across.

I know you are busy, but what does "loose" mean here? Can you apply it to a specific input situation? Does the stick move too easily from its default position?

Can you tell me all about it? Trying to figure out what stick to get before SFV. About to send my other sticks in to Amazon as a trade in to afford it.

Just saw this, Karst:

It moves too easily and doesn't snap back to neutral as quickly as I'd like. I notice it a lot in anime games when trying to IAD.

So I got bodied on stream by Matador, a JP tekken player, and then did better against my next opponent, Tank. Not sure if he was from overseas or not. For not getting any time with the game, happy with how I played.

Going to go play some SF5 now until my pools start for SF4.

go have some good stress free sets in casuals.
2-2 is a good score, guys. Lots of killers out there.

Hoping for an all Sheik and Yoshi top 8. :p

Noticed that most players tend to go to button check regardless of fixing their buttons beforehand.

Maybe they should add in a way for players to check their buttons during the character select screen.
