I like it, everyone who got in top 8 was a top 8 contender with the exception of one surprise. 8 players with more than 8 characters, kinda hard to ask for a better top 8.

Hmm, this is a great top 8 imo since there's a mix of EVO veterants and a newcomer as well. I really like watching Tokido play Akuma with his mastered U2 tech (only person in the world which make the U2 look absolutely deadly). Momochi has the best Ken tech and he actually make the character look more interesting than he actually is (one of the most boring incarnation of Ken throughout the series imo).

Infiltration is one lame and boring player, but it's fascinating when you take into consideration just how many characters he can pull out of his ass at any given time. Ai Ai is the newcomer in a super high profile tournament along with a character which we don't see often, so he's going to get a load of bonus points from stream monsters.

Gamerbee, Pr Balrog and Nemo are absolute beasts and can all come back from loser to win it all. I don't know if Knuckle is up to that level just yet, but he's definitively the most underrated player in the US simply because he's not the best Guile (but he has a second character with whom he can make serious damage unlike Dieminion who's bread and butter is Guile).

Madcatz sells a set of replacement panels for the TE2 which make it more like a Namco Noir layout, though it looks like they're out of stock. Other than that, your options are the standard TE2 and Hori RAP layouts.
