yeah they were great... nothing like watching your coach wanting to wait till the last second to snap the ball EVERYTIME....only for the opposing defense to get a good jump on the ball, for some strange reason. And don't forget about Gore up the middle 100% of the time.

man we were so unpredictable, I don't know how Sherm and them can say they knew our plays.
 
You have to be pretty damn naive if you thought he wasn't gonna get paid like this considering Cam got over 20 million a year. The colts fucked up by not renegotiating Lucks contract this year, he has to be salivating at the mouth LOL.

thats not glancing...he knocked the guy off his route if thats ok , no one will play pass defense ever again because you wont need to. Over the back pass defense would be ok....he hit him before the ball and knocked him off his route that kind of hit is ok AFTER the receiver has touched the ball he hadn't yet which is key.
 
Speaking of Luck, what the hell is going on in 2016? He has a random 16 Million in year 5 of a 4 year deal. I'm confused.

looking at the pass will not get you off the hook that would make defending too easy it would allow contact just because of the intention of going for an interception. One rule is enforceable all the time, you cannot contact (knock a receiver off his route post 5yds) the receiver in a route unless they have contact with the ball. The other is arbitrary " unless the defender has turned his head to face an on..." lol read that bullshit. The NFL isn't perfect and neither is the officiating or rules committee. If that much contact is ok in pass defense then journeyman cb's are about to go to the probowl. The play made is absolutely fine if the WR has the tip of his fingers on that ball. Whats close is he doesn't , from the other angle it's hard to tell so you give it the benefit of the doubt. From the other angle its clearly contact before the ball is touched by the offensive player. I'm sure every defensive player in the league wishes it was called that way but it wont be and it will get flagged.

The receiver doesn't choose where to go. He has a set running route. It would be the QB's fault for throwing it there despite the fact that there were multiple defenders covering the area.

even I as a Bills fan, an avowed enemy of the Patriots, thinks that was a clean and all time defensive play. If they would've called PI on that play it would've been a joke. Butler clearly made a play on the ball.

Money isn't in cures, it's in "treatments." Who do you think would make more money, a guy that creates a cure for erectile dysfunction or a guy that creates a pill that temporarily helps with it? Pro athlete salaries are going up in all sports. If that bothers you now, then 10 years from now you're gonna go insane.

The real surprise is the guaranteed money. Outside of that, his deal will be eclipsed by the next couple bug QB extensions. Eli, Luck, etc all stand to get bigger money totals.

over 20 TDs and 10 or less ints first 3 years
Over 3,000 yards first 3 years
over 400 - 800 rushing yards those 3 years
Over 63% completion those 3 years
Plus the team also went to 2 Super bowl visits and 1 ring

Show me another QB that can claim those stats in there first 3 years, you cant
Not Brees, Brady, Rodgers, Big Ben or Luck

I cant think of 1 QB to be that good in there first 3 years and all of a sudden become terrible, (outside of a major injury) in the history of the NFL.

QBs can play til late 30's, yea they have some down years, but major bust I just never seen it before.

Nah. Guaranteed money it's Rodgers-tier, per-year it's not (it's 8th for QBs IIRC).

I will have fun with that, definitely more fun than the Saints will be having with their tier 1 QB ;)

I know what my team is, an 8-8 team at best with at least one more season of growing pains if not longer. The problem with this sort of shit talking is it presumes the other person is an irrational fanboy like they are, thats the only way these weak jabs ever work.

Have fun with that slow slide to mediocrity though. Spend less time trying to shit talk others and enjoy it, because once those defensive contracts come up and Lynch is gone in a year or two, all you will have is a tier 2 quarterback at 21 million a year and a lot of nostalgia to wrap yourself in.
