This sounds flaky.
My system has some weird quirks already, I think I better hold off on upgrading.

Is anyone else having problems with Battle.net after upgrading to windows 10? I try to login but it gives me an error code. After looking on their website, nothing lead me to a solution.
I just wanna play some Hearthstone![]()

Screenshot of GF's - anyone experienced this?
I heard they work in windowed mode.does anyone have any tips on getting max payne 1 and 2 to run? they worked fine in win7 but now when i run either of them a little .tmp file appears briefly in task manager but nothing ever happens. no launcher, no process, nothing. the log file shows timestamps for every attempt but they're all blank.
i tried the steam version, then i tried reinstalling my cd versions. i tried them patched and unpatched, with the sound fix, tried running on a single core, different compatibility settings, command line parameters, etc. i'm out of ideas.
From what I see, the mail app notifications are very slow.Just want to give an update regarding Battle.net not working. Couple hours ago I figured, why the hell not give it one more try. So I booted it up and I was able to play Hearthstone. I don't know the cause, maybe it was because they had schedule maintenance, but it's working now.
ALSO, anyone here using the mail app? I have the settings to where I should be receiving a desktop notification every time I receive new mail, but nothing pops up. Do I have to leave the app open?
I've mentioned this multiple times in this thread, but it's been eleven-ish days since I've upgraded, and it's still happening.
Whenever I turn computer on for the first time each day, it works fine for five-to-ten minutes but then abruptly shuts down, no shutting down screen or anything. Then it turns itself back on and it doesn't do that for the rest of the day. The only time I don't recall this happening was the day after I downloaded the first service pack.
I'm thinking it's a hardware issue, but I don't want to revert, I honestly really like Windows 10. I've read that there's malware that causes this sort of thing as well, but I would've thought it'd be addressed by now.
Driver 355.60 Release NotesNV has released a new Win10 driver: Ashes Of The Singularity GeForce Game Ready Driver Released
Windows 10 Fixed Issues
- There were no fixed issues reported for this release.
That's not really true. This is a completely new branch so there ought to be fixes and new bugs. They don't document all fixes that go into a driver version. There's no reason to release a new driver if it contains nothing new.
I'll take your word for it, I don't know how Nvidia typically does driver release notes.Strange because on their forums, they say " In addition this driver also brings bug fixes and increased stability in some games reported by customers "
Does anyone else get slow log off and restart due to 'Program Manager' not closing. I cant even find this process running and Google has not helped me on this one.
That driver should work on 10. What's the issue? Is there a fix for xinput wrapper for ds3?
got windows 10, want to crate a bootable dvd. do i go with the N or without the N
Ouch, don't know that..GeForce 6-series and GeForce 7-series GPUs have moved to legacy support with the
GeForce Release 304 drivers. These products are no longer supported beginning with
the GeForce Release 310 drivers.
That driver should work on 10. What's the issue?
Try disabling signed driver signature enforcement? On mobile so can't link a full tutorial, the procedure for win 8 should also work for 10.Everytime I have to reboot, I have to uninstall/reinstall the driver to get it working again.
I would say it depends on what version you have currently installed.
From what I understand W10 installs your drivers automatically but does it update them automatically as well? Nvidia released a new driver yesterday. Would windows install that or would I have to do it myself?

Ouch, don't know that..
Where have you got that from?
My 780 is on 355.60
I had some of this after installing the new NVIDIA driver, went away when it finally restarted.
From release notes.
My 770 is also working on latest drivers (but it does not mean that nvidia will make further optimizations for it)
Wereabouts?
AllI can see is a table of supported cards that goes down to 430.
Edit: found it, that means the 6***gt and 7***gt series, not the GTX 6** and GTX 7**
Run a hardware diagnostic test. Do advanced on ram.
Ouch, don't know that..
I ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic on computer. No problems found.
So I upgraded to W10 via the MediaCreationTool in the OP but then I went back to W7 for various reasons.
Now I want to upgrade to W10 again but the tool is downloading the files again. Shouldn't the files be still on my PC? Is there a folder somewhere where I can manually initialize the setup?
AFAIK:
This depents if you have the pro or the 'normal' version. In the PRO version you can easily deactivate the auto driver process but not in the standard version.
Anyway if you want to install the driver manualy you are free to do so in both versions.
I had this exact same problem on Windows 8 when I first installed it. Turning off Fast Boot fixed it. I don't have Win 10 installed yet but I'm assuming the settings are in the same place. Control Panel | Power Options | Choose what the power button does, and then down below is "Turn on fast startup". You might have to click the line near the top that says "Change settings that are currently unavailable".
