Is there any point to using anything besides the Stealth Suit after you get? Realistically it's not great camo, but it was pretty good in almost every environment in Peacewalker and MGS3. Since there's no camo meter I don't really know.
There's a real cognitive dissonance between how people treat Snake and how Snake himself acts... in everything but cassettes. It's Silent Protagonist Syndrome and I'm afraid it's terminal.
How far into the game?TheIs a must have got made a nice tranq sniper with a silencerLegendary Gunsmith
I just realized (by accident) that you can wake up tranquilized enemies by kicking them, then grab them and ask for intel.

I guess I'll see how bad it gets, but so far I have more GMP than I know what to do with from finding a bunch of 100k Diamonds during a mission.Played enough to know that points grinding is as bad an idea as it was in PW. It completely discourages experimentation. All those pistols and I have to ignore them because I need the stungun. And it is mandatory to progress through the game.
I think what I'm not digging about the game is I feel like I'm Snake just going around doing chores like taking out the trash and doing the dishes. In other MGS games everything you were moving towards had a purpose and there were always interesting set pieces and characters along the way. In this I'm collecting diamonds, flowers, and medals to make money to get shit that I just would have unlocked or found normally in the old games. Then there's all these disjointed pieces that break up the whole experience. I mean, I knew it would be open world but was expecting something more focused I guess.
I'm starting to wish this game was just a series of expansive levels because honestly the open world component is flat out bad most of the time. It exhibits the worst elements of open world games such as length travelling periods where there is nothing to do and the Motherbase grind is already pissing me off.
Parts of this game are really well done but others are just half-assed.

Yup, expansive levels would have been a way better choice here in my opinion. I struggle between I love this game and why the fuck am I traveling such lengths in a bland environment in order to get to the good stuff?
Do we really need to see credits over and over?
Nope, just keep playing.
Yup.
There's a lot of good design decisions that aren't really explained. There might be a hint that explains them, but it's hard to go through them all.
Do we really need to see credits over and over? Not liking sitting through all the tapes either. But yeah, the gameplay is great.
Rule of thumb in MGS usually is if you wonder if you can do a thing, you can probably do it.
The games have always had such baffling levels of unnecessary detail.

So is the way to unlock the ''true ending'' spoilery or something as simple as completing all missions or something?

Skip the credits and/or wait for the 20 seconds or so that they're playing.
Play cassettes over your gameplay while you're travelling. Sitting and listening is literally no different to sitting and listening to a codec conversation in past games.
