If Metal Gear Solid 'Delta' is a collection of remakes, what will the next one will be called?

You actually only play as Delta for the first act. Then the rest of the game you play as Omega. Which is really misleading and probably going to piss off a lot of Delta fans.

According to the Metal Gear Twitter account, the delta symbol in the game's title "fits the concept of the remake project. Delta means 'change' or 'difference' without changing structure." apparently referring to the symbol's use in math and science to mean a change in quantity.
Or they're starting a fraternity

Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater gives the PlayStation 2 classic MGS3 a fresh coat of Unreal Engine 5 paint, tweaking some of the gameplay to give it a modern feel, but keeping things pretty much how we remember them.

But once that's out of the way, what should Konami remake next? Let's weigh the pros and cons of remaking and releasing some of the obvious classics like the original PS1 Metal Gear Solid (which already got a Game Cube remake with Twin Snakes) or the PSP fan-favorite multiplayer Peace Walker, which got an overhaul already for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on the HD Collection.

Then there are some that might be a little more complicated to remake and market, whether it's the ancient MSX games that started the series, Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, or the PSP tactical card game RPG Metal Gear Acid, or Snake's Revenge, the weird unofficial/un-Kojima NES spinoff Snake's Revenge.

Metal Gear Solid Delta hits Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 and PC on August 28th, 2025, keep an eye on IGN for our review!

Ads never fail goddamn

Call it whatever you want but this is a known story by now and there's no surprises left.

So with that said I would like them to keep remaking these games in chronological order of the timeline.

So next I want a remake of MGS Portable Ops > Remake of MGS Peace Walker > Remaster of MGS V part 1 and part 2 > Remake of Metal Gear 1 > Remake of Metal Gear 2 > Remake of MGS > Remake of MGS 2 > Remake of MGS 4 and finally a Remake of MGR Revengence.

I'd love it if they do Metal Gear 1+2 next as those would naturally be new games basically.
However, it Delta sells well I guess they'll go with MGS1 next.

I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed that they're more or less just remastering 3. Would have hoped for a total Remake like Capcom did for Resident Evil. Rewrite the story a bit. Kojima ain't there any more anyway.
