If Karin is in her school girl outfit... Ugh. Well have to mass tweet Ono to take her back to the drawing board.
But the only change Mika did was grow her hair and expose more of her bust.
Mika is a lot bigger than she was in Alpha. She sounds older as well, even though that might be a result of the different voice actors.
There WILL be alternate costumes, you guys shoudn't worry that much about her initial outfit
People that complain about outfits are the same dopes who care about the story and canon of Street Fighter
That can be said for most of the characters in SFV.
I am absolutely a dope that cares about the story and canon of Street Fighter.People that complain about outfits are the same dopes who care about the story and canon of Street Fighter

I wouldn't say it's true of the women.

Even Capcom doesn't care at this point, if they ever did.I am absolutely a dope that cares about the story and canon of Street Fighter.
Eh, I disagree. Outfits kinda ruined a lot of characters in MK9 for example.
Character design was ass. Only costumes worth anything were the MK1 onesEh, I disagree. Outfits kinda ruined a lot of characters in MK9 for example.
The Ken Bogard leak, along with Capcom explicitly saying they were waiting for a specific time to reveal story details and where the game is in the timeline, implies differently.Even Capcom doesn't care at this point, if they ever did.

The only one that shouldn't change is Urien. The dude isn't a guy that will fight with his suit on. Shit is going to get bloody and he needs to show off his body that was sculpted by the gods.
He's the SF equivalent of Brad Pitt in Fight Club. Dude takes his shirt off in the basement because shit will get messy, he's going to fuck you up, and because he needs to show off his body.
I think they both played a part! Like I'll still want to play as Vega if the story 'ruins' him or whatever as long as he's still fun to play as, but I won't want to play as a character if they have a horribly offensive outfit.Even Capcom doesn't care at this point, if they ever did.
Shitty balance and poor game design ruined characters in MK9 far more than any costume ever could.
😨Speaking of outfits not a fan of gill and urien outfits
Eh, I disagree. Outfits kinda ruined a lot of characters in MK9 for example.
exactly
if they don't care, why should we?
Urien shouldn't even have alternate costumes, he's perfect the way he is
Even if urien has alts, we need to see him take off the suit first idc if he takes it off just to reveal another suit give this to me
He needs a suit, so that when his suit tears in the intro, he's still in a suit.
All the alts need a suit introHe needs a suit, so that when his suit tears in the intro, he's still in a suit.
All of the female characters were an embarrassment to the industry. Except I guess you could make a case for Mileena?why did people like the MK9 story mode? i never got around to playing it.
how so?

Nah default outfits matter. That's the outfit that's going to be used to primarily sell the character, the outfit that will be in the conscience of the playerbase via use online or in official media, the outfit that will be used in Story Mode, the outfit that will get most of the cosplay and fanart, the outfit that will be on 99.99% of streams, etc. The default outfit 100% matters.
It was basically a remake of mk1-3 but with slight differences. Pretty smart move, you would imagine they do the same thing with mk4 and do right this time

Idk why they never went the tekken route and just gave them dumb endings, in TTT2 heihachi becomes kumaThere are a few reasons why I think the story mode will be better this time:
- Capcom implied its importance a few times
- Unreal Engine! Comes with a lot of tools to create stuff like that, it's no extra effort t create tools (I hope they played Asura's Wrath)
- No arcade version means there's no reason for the arcade mode structure, aka one (terrible) storyline for every character.
All the alts need a suit intro
So you mean instead of his suit alt have a suit intro, he comes in the arena in his man diaper and just wills the suit into existence like a opposite suit intro. That's amazing I hope you work for capcomIf they charge a premium for costumes, they should at least do that. It would be pretty cool. Sort of how outfits in League of Legends work for your more premium versions. They retain all their properties, but attack effects, taunts, etc change with the outfit.
They wouldn't be able to pump them out as quick, but I'd take quality costumes over quantity any day.
Analyzed by self proclaimed undergarment experts.
Opponent sees the alt. And yeah, the way they fixed that in MKX is one of the reasons I bought it.anyone got a 1080p / 60fps youtube video of SF V Chunners?
i can't find a HQ gif of the new EX SBK so i'm gonna just do it myself
i wondered about this - does an opponent see your alt or do they just see the default? anyone know?
ohh, that'd be dope. go through the whole SF story, new chapters release as DLC characters drop....
oh yikes, a quick google search clears that up for me.
Mika's default might be sketchy, but those are universally bad.
Maybe focus on athletic gear, which would fit with her bike shorts, wealth, and physicality.

edit:
- Continued story mode would be a good selling point for "seasons" or whatever they are going to sell

They definitely stopped caring for a while partway through the SF4 era, though.
That could be a cool alt!Business suit pls.

If someone doesn't turn into a blanka and runs at them wanting to mate the game will be a disappointmentNo worry! We are going to get those dumb endings in TK x SF.
