I love that background stage.
So nice coming to GAF this morning and seeing the title of this thread. SFV is making dreams come true. I'm looking forward to hearing the Japanese VA though, I can't be using these American VA in mah SF.

Will 2nd beta feature offline modes?
I think most characters can land a CA from them, but yeah it looks good.
I don't think any betas for SF V will have an offline component. I mean hypothetically they could make it so you still have to sign in and then once you're in you can play offline but it would be more trouble for them especially if people found away to trick the game after the beta was over. More importantly though there's just no purpose for their testing purposes as the beta exists to troubleshoot the online kinks and to get more feedback on the game.
I think that's the move that goes over lows too, so it'll be nasty

As mentioned previously, a lot of her moves are inspired by Baji Quan, which is the same Kung Fu style Akira, Julia/Michelle Chang/Leo from Tekken, Yun/Yang, etc. are inspired by.

Moveset looks great but the model seems pretty rough. The face and and hair plus the shade of her coat, colours are just off.

This 100k closed beta is japan only so no news on NA,EU, etc... yet.

In Japan you had to sign up to get in the beta as opposed to NA where you just had to pre order and I assume (hope) that's what they're talking about here.

If anything, this picture gives me hope that all the backgrounds shown in these character portraits do in fact show stages that will be in the game (eventually). That would mean we would get a New York stage for Ken, a Dubai one for Rashid etc.
I mean, if characters are not getting exclusive stages, why is Karin getting one that is specifically tied to her? That would only rub it in as far other characters go.

I think they changed her VA. Still sounds appropriate for her character but I think it's a different actress. If it's the same she must have used a different voice to make her sound older.

Only two characters I really wanted to see in this were R.Mika and Karin, so I'm happy
I'm pretty sure it's not a school uniform. I really like that they were able to give her a new outfit that kept a lot of the look of the old one but let her move on from being a schoolgirl.

Actually no. How come people automatically assume this shit about all female characters?
I wanted her for her moveset. Now that that's changed I don't even know if I want to use her anymore.
