Nah I couldn't call her that. Her cancel was more for saving yourself when doing that move at an inappropriate time than to keep your enemy guessing like with Viper, Hwoarang, and Baek.
Were they really feint characters though or like the case of Makoto?
Knowing Capcom the latter is very much a possibility.
Not that it's definite proof for anything, but the placements of the characters on the character select screen ostensibly indicate that we can expect two non-SF2 characters in addition to the two newcomers.

Dang From Brazil to USA, assuming Ono leaves on the same day after reveal he could make it to the US to get ready for Alex reveal.
But 2 back to back reveals will leave the rest of October dry with no SF5 stuff to look forward to XoX

IF they announce a character at NYCC, it will be Alex simply because he is from USA and with the exception of a character or two, they are always revealing characters that are from the country they are announcing

Like I said last night. Alex and city street stage at NYCC. Makes the best sense and would create the most hope. It's that easy.
So, they are revelaing Laura here and then another character in NYCC ? Ono going miles.
And we still have Paris Game Show in October. November/December will be barren unless they start talking DLC characters.

In the Gief and Dhalsim vs Alex and Urien i go with the second one simply because of place of announcement.
Either way we'll have two half-naked characters, one white and one brown.

One of my major complaints with V is that all the music sounds really boring and dont really say anything about the stage, cept zealand. All of it sounds like grungy rock with no soul. Heres hoping Jazzy NYC will save us from this rock purgatory.

It would be so cool if Urien is the final boss. He was always more suitable in all ways than Gil as a boss character, save having to power up his moveset a little.

If (when) we get Alex and Urien, Vega really is going to be an extraordinarily weird outlier in this starting lineup...Juri really would have made so much more sense
