Street Fighter V minimum and recommended PC specs

can you take screenshots of what it look like in the beta? curious to see how the low settings look

I'm actually going to wait until the full game just in case it ends up not running well at all on my computer. Unless I can ask for a Steam refund on preorders?

So that means it should be well optimized for PC's, that's great.

But its strange that the absolute minimum CPU requirements are higher than what the PS4 has. Is that just on account of PC API overhead in general?

Whoever is testing the game for the HW requirements might have been playing with Blender and Handbrake on.

Joking.

Probably because during testing for HW requirements they are using an unfinished build, granted that the HW requirements are released way before the actual release date. Or they have this arbitrary scale for what is Minimum (60fps, 1080p) and Recommended (120fps, 4k). Lol. I dont really know.

Capcom has had some of the best ports on PC out of most companies in general.
Well yes, had. 5 years ago when they did the porting themselves, now they outsource that shit and the output is mediocre to terrible plus it's UE4 for the first time - I wouldn't expect much.

wut.
They're PC ports for the past few years have all been good and run really well.

DR3 is their weakest entry but mainly because that game barely held together to begin with.

It's telling when DmC 2013 can run at 60 FPS+max esttings on various low end laptops for example.

Street fighter on steam sucked, took years to partially fix it
dead rising - hot mess
dmc4se - compare performance and issues with dmc4
re6 - bugged for a long time with random performance problems
re5 gold - sucked so bad they had to patch gfwl back in lol
re rev 1 (2?) - way far from perfect at launch
Street Fighter x Tekken - pure 'perfection'

Not to mention USF4 on PS4.

Street Fighter (Vanilla, AE) was great from the start. The Steam port took a few months to straighten out due to how Steam handled P2P connections. Everything was great once Steam fixed their issues. I'm not sure what the PS4 version has to do with their PC ports, but okay.

No one used the term "perfect" to describe any of their recent ports. Like most games, things require a patch or two to straighten things out. Dead Rising was a mess of an engine, but the port was actually okay. The others you listed all ran wonderfully for me, so I don't really have much to say on that. RE5 Gold gives you the choice between GFWL and Steam so players can keep their old mods. Maybe I missed it, but I haven't heard anything about them patching GFWL back in.

*shrug*

Pretty much.

Lmao at "years" and mentioning PS4 USF4.

I don't get it. Are you trying to play these games on your 2002 Compaq or something? Hell, I could squeeze 60fps out of SFIV on my Pentium 4 machine if I stayed in the training stage.

What are you talking about? QLOC does a damn amazing job and are praised time and again.

All of this is wrong. Even USFIV on STEAM was a fantastic port sans the bumpy online at the beginning, which was still better than any other fighting game's online experience except Skullgirlz.

This guy does not know what he's talking about.

You have no idea what you're talking about and embarrass yourself.
Even AE gfwl had a ton of issues, transition to steam made it worse and of course stuff wasn't fixed when ultra launched. It took a long time to make that hot mess playable.

Compared to ports like Batman AK, Dark Souls, Deadly Premonition? Maybe, but beside capcom's internal early ports they are gutter trash tier.

Not worried at all about running this. I could run the Phantom Pain on High settings at 60FPS with my current rig and it looked pretty good (hair looked terrible but I think that's a limitation of the Fox Engine).

Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain use the same specs right?
I should be good to go then.

1st RE4 port was gutter trash. RE5, RE4 re-release and RE6 were great. SF4 could also run on dGPU-less work laptop.

Still, it's on UE4 now so I have no worries.
