I've watched all of Scorpion and can't tell if the positive replies here is sarcasm or not...
It's still better than Minority Report. Yech.
Gotham took a hit
Minority Report may want to see about it's own future
Seems a lot of stuff was softer this week
I should drop Minority Report since its safe to say it won't around much longer and probably not going to evolve into something worth watching.
I see Blindspot is doing decent, and I like Jamie Alexander, but I don't know if I'm interested in picking up a mostly procedural show and I may just compare it unfavorably to Person of Interest if it doesn't have good serialized stuff.
Blindspot isn't just doing decent, it's pretty much a hit by 2015 standards, especially for NBC and as long as the ratings don't nose dive it's going to get another season..
Is Minority Report that bad? I've been out of the country on vacation since premiere week and just caught up with some of the premiere ratings. I'm shocked it did so bad, as I assumed it would get viewers on name recognition alone.
It's dreadfully boring and absent of any sort of charisma, personality and the lead is annoying and no one has any chemistry on top of the aforementioned lack of charisma.
Wow, I can't imagine the amount of money they had to pony up to change the name and possibly cancel the 700 club.
From
Deadline:
I'm pretty surprised, too. I almost don't believe it when they say that there is no legal obstacle because they would have done this years ago if they could.
Well, they're not dropping The 700 Club so that deal must still be in place.
The Mysteries of Laura is a better cop show than Minority Report.
But you might ask, but what about the sci-fi elements of Minority Report? Well, the answer to that is that most of that is just pointless CGI.
Literally every other "cop show" that launched this year is infinitely more enjoyable than MR. They at least are moving their longer plots much faster than expected. MR is glacially slow. Or if we should be fair, Limitless is more full on cop show but at least that's entertaining to watch.
At least Limitless has a lead has some charm, I hope they don't continue to lean on the "we got Bradley Cooper to shoot this scene, let's show it multiple times again in the next episode to remind people" thing.
