Games you remember, names you don't

Help me out with this game in my head.

I remember playing it in the famicom. I think it was made by Jaleco. It's a shooting game sorta like Contra I think, but you can switch weapons. One of it is a three-way shooter.

After research I can't seem to figure this one out.

-Sega Genesis (maybe CD)
-Side scrolling shooter
-Mech/Robot that can transform and fly
-Upgrade weapons with power ups
-Pretty difficult
-was really pretty for the time

Sorry if that's not enough info...it's driving me nuts.

I believe the game was for either SNES or Genesis. All I can remember is that You play as a green dinosaur and at one point go into a rocket ship. It's not a huge green dinosaur, I think the game may have been a platformer...?

EDIT: also it was a 2D game

Nope, neither of those are it. It was maybe a bit more like the second one because it was cartoony, but it didn't have you play as a human on a dinosaur, you were just a dinosaur.

The game randomly pops into my head, but because I can't remember it it just bothers me lol

I've been listening through various jrpg soundtracks (cause this sounds familiar) and one thing i think i can say, it sounds like a SNES game, but, it sounds like a Playstation era re-release of a SNES game, but i can't be certain, its just how it sounds to me.
I'm almost positive it's PS1.
definitely sounds like something from Saga Frontier, but I just clicked around every track on the OST on youtube but couldn't find it. :\

Radical Rex?

This one might be a little weird and I'm not sure if it released, but I remember watching a video on IGN a year or so ago where the developers walked them through their adventure game with a pixel art style, in which a group of friends were hanging out and you could select different conversation options. Might have been on a beach? I seem to remember a campfire. They eventually decided to explore this cave which was beyond this forbidden area, with peer pressure kind of playing a part in whether you join in on that. I seem to remember it getting kind of crazier as they went closer to the entrance / slightly inside, and it gave me a Kentucky Route Zero vibe. There may have been a dimensional rift thing, or time travel, or something?

I've been trying to find back a game I played some years ago. It was made by either an Indie team or by one person, and you could download it (not sure if it was playable in a browser).
This is kind of a long shot, but I hope anyone happens to know it since I really liked it.

What I remember:
  • You played as some sort of a light, that came from a lamppost or something.
  • It was a 2D game made with Unity
  • Gameplay had you jump to walls and surfaces and cling onto them, and if you fell down you lost a life.
  • There were readable messages along the way, that were written as if it was an advice a father would give to his child.
Kind of looked like this (sorry badly drawn paint picture)

Try Last Knight at Camelot, Zeliard, Knight Force.

None of those. This is for a friend, btw. I'm being told you weren't stuck on a straight 2D plane and you could move up and down between 3 different planes.
And that it was on a 3.5" floppy disk if that matters.

Fairly recent indie game similar to the original Mario Brothers (one screen) and I wanna say the art style reminded me of Eets or was at least very colorful. Any tips?

How about Dark Ages? I don't remember if it had planes or not, it's been awhile.

I played this game when i was a kid, end of 90's, 95-99. It was on PC, Windows 95 or 98. 2D platformer, pixel graphics. Playable character was a woman and she was wearing some kind of red clothing. She might have had big boobs too. Blonde, long hair i think. Thats all i can remember. Maybe she was some kind of warrior.

Then there is this other game. All same details except character was green, maybe some kind of lizard, walking on two legs though. You could collect something red round things, apples maybe. One level was in forest i think. Character had probably, something red in his head.

For the first one it's probably Vinyl Goddess from Mars, though it could be Jill of the Jungle episode 2 since Jill wears a different color in each of the three games.

As for the second... maybe Alien Rampage.

Radical Rex? That was on both consoles.

Thanks, first one was Jill of the Jungle EP2.

Second wasn't Alien Rampage, character was very bright green and colors were also much brighter in general. I think it was a game for little kids, but thanks anyway.

Second one could be Gex?

A browser based dinosaur adventure where you have to help your dinosaur grow up. I think it was on an educational site and might still exist.

I need help.

The game is old, I played it in the 90's.

So, you play a guy, bad-ass, with a epic chin. You grab different weapons, some color key to open doors, and you shoot to the enemies.

You travel or switch (I don't remember the plot) through time or space or dimension. So, you visit 4 different environment.
I remember: prehistoric, Clown/party/playbox, Castle, Space (not sure).

I don't really remember the controls, but the camera is... a little like the last zelda on 3DS, but a little more inclined.
I was playing on a Macintosh, probably MacOS 7 or 8, but not sure.

That all I really remember. Help please!

One of my first Game Boy games, alongside DK '94, was a Japanese vertical SHUMP. I don't know what it was called, and I'm pretty sure the text was in Japanese, but it had an anime style, I think, and what I do remember was the first level having a boss or two before having to fight some gigantic fortress-like-thing on an entirely white background.

Unfortunately, it was one of those games from my childhood that inexplicably disappeared from my collection, along with Rogue Squadron and Wario Land 3.

Could this be Solar Striker?

Not on that list, either. I honestly have a feeling it was a Japanese import from when my family was living there, and I definitely remember Japanese text from it, so it might be a Japan-only game.

I'm fairly sure it's Vattle Giuce by IGS.

Oh, holy crap, this is probably it! Though I remember there being a full-on start menu with options and ship selections, and the first level boss being a lot bigger and not just moving from side to side, but a lot of things certainly seem to check out. If there isn't another GB game that's similar to this one, I suppose this is probably it. Thanks!

An educational PC game my class (UK) used to play during IT about being a slave in Ancient Rome.

We only ever had 30-60 mins max. so we only ever just got past a part where we had to assemble the ingredients to bake bread.

Sure! I hope that is it; your description sounded exactly like it. I'm not a super-duper JP-only GB expert, but the system didn't have a whole ton of vertical shooters...
