I just got back and picked up Demon's Souls (last copy), Batman: AA, and Katamari Tribute. Odd thing is the register didn't take off the free game and I had to wait while they got someone to come and manually adjust it.

On the website it seems like pretty much all blu-ray movies are on sale to some degree. I pre-ordered Star Trek, Terminator Salvation and GI Joe for $20.99 each. Also got Sin City blu-ray for $20.99, definitely the lowest price i've seen for it so far. Tons of movies for $15 or less as well.

Still trying to decide what games I want exactly....

the employees at my best buy didn't even know the deal was going on. When I showed the guy the ad he actually got excited and said he's gonna use it to get Tekken on tuesday. Anyway, left with Uncharted 2, Borderlands and NCAA10. My store was pretty well stocked other than Borderlands, which was gone on 360 and had one copy left on PS3 (that I snagged).

Doesn't always work out as well as it's said. It can take up to 45 mins for an online order to be printed out at the location and then it's up to the merch/inventory guys to actually take action and get the items for in-store pick up.

Basically, just call ahead and ask to have it put on hold.

So, whoever cleared out the Rochester area of Fallout 3 GOTY on 360, angryfist.

Wound up grabbing Beatles Rock Band, Brutal Legend, and the Capcom 3-pack (Dead Rising, Lost Planet, Devil May Cry 4). Nice to get 5 games for $120. Was gonna get Wii Sports Resort for the Motion Plus but it wasn't coming up. Then the 3-pack didn't either, so apparently their POS system is just, well, a POS.

Yes. But sometimes B&M stores will say no to stop people from hoarding. Online should work fine and the shipping is free right now it seems.

Buying 3 Borderlands is a real good deal 2 * $53.99 = 106.98 divide by 3 and it is a mere $35.99 a game.

Edit: That is online only though.

I got Uncharted 2, Brutal Legend, NFS Shift (Thanks TRU), Demon's Souls, Rock Band Beatles and ODST recently, and will most likely get Modern Warfare 2 at launch. I just don't need more right now, and showed some rare restraint with a game in my hand.

I'm sure those others games games will be discounted by the time I get done with the ones I have, so getting them for effectively $40 each right now isn't really necessary.

It's not at all necessary, but you'll miss out on some of the dynamics between characters if you don't play the first one first. Honestly, the game is $25 or whatever on Amazon right now. Just buy it, it is SO worth playing, and it'll make the second one even more enjoyable.

The only thing you'll miss out on is the background relationship of a couple of characters and some jokes in Drake's journal.

Apparently it depends on whether your games ring up as 40/40/40 or 60/60/0 (with you unable to swap the free one). Mine rang up as the latter, but YMMV.
