Mine rang up 60/60/0. I've heard people say otherwise though.

Hmm, I think I might swap Brutal Legend for MW2 or AC2...
 
Guess I'll put off playing through Uncharted 2 for a bit until I can afford the first. These buy 2 get 1 sales have destroyed my wallet. :lol

I did the deal online, and it rang up as 60/60/0. So, I guess this means when I do my in-store pickup, I can just hold onto Tekken & swap for Dragon Age next week. Sweet. I also noticed on my email receipt that Borderlands was only $54! All according to plan..... bwahaha!
 
I missed out on the TRU sale so it was Best Buy to the rescue for me.

The deal worked for me. I got all 3 of these games for $53 after tax. I would have gotten newer games like Uncharted 2 and Demon's Souls, but I already own them. :lol

Got Uncharted 2(for a friend), Borderlands, and Demon's Souls :D We split the costs so I ended up paying 80 for both games.

Yeah Demon's souls is really hard to find. I had to make the go in the back and look for my copy :D
edit-I just realized why everyone is doing buy 2 get 1 free games. (best buy and Toys R' US) Game sales for everyone else are probably gonna take a dive when MW2 comes out next month. We're actually doing them a favor by getting this deal :lol

Oddly, I was tempted by a few of the lower-priced games I'd missed (Far Cry 2, etc). I'm not totally sold on Batman... but a "free" game makes that an easy third choice.

Best Buy fails again, Went to get Dragonball : Revenge of King Piccolo.

I checked if there store had it at home it said 2 near me had them. I get there no where in sight. Saw a flyer that it was there 10/20 its the 25th. So I asked if they had it. They show 4 in stock, but she couldn't find it. The excuse was it takes a day to open the box and bring it to the floor. I said ok you got it on the 20th its the 25th. She just repeated the same answer.

Anyway, this happens to me every time I go to get a new release. Why advertise if you don't have the product? I am so sick of this store.
 
Got Demon's Souls. Yes!

Oh and Brutal Legend and Borderlands (which I am returning on Tuesday for R&C)

NONE of those games were in the back with the rest of the games, but rather in a locked cage up front.
 
Finally found Demon's Souls in my area. Found it hidden behind Fifa. :lol

Got that plus two copies of Borderlands for 360. Borderlands were flying off the shelves to say the least.
 
i was just there with some friends, and we had the guy price check borderlands to have it's price reduced to 53.99 like it is on the website, and somehow it ended up giving him his 59$ game as the free one, rather than the 49$ game.

the cashier made an odd face, and started talking about it, and how you could buy two 10$ games and get the expensive one for free, but he didn't do anything about it.
 
Got an email saying I could pick up Tekken tomorrow, but no shipment confirmation email on Borderlands. Damn, that's the game I am most excited about.
 
Anybody knows how the exchange works ? I went to Best Buy this morning to pick up the three games I wanted, but they don't have GTA Liberty City Stories until Thursday. So I picked up Forza 3, Resident Evil 5 and HALO Wars as a placeholder, that is the same price as GTA, $39.99.

Can I just go to customer service on Thursday and swap Halo Wars for GTA with no problems ?

I'm afraid of opening the two games I got.

As far as I know (and it may be different for you), you should be able to just bring in your receipt and Halo Wars (sealed). Maybe call your store and ask them first. My Customer Service department confirmed with me that it would be fine for me to buy a game last Friday (before the sale) then get it adjusted (with a return/rebuy) for the sale. So I was able to play my game then just bring in the receipt, which I did today.

On a side note, if you ever plan on doing something like this, the process is ten times harder if you're using reward zone certificates :-/

Got Tekken and 2 copies of Demon's Souls :-D
 
Why can't you just take a sealed game back to Best Buy, then say it was a gift and they gave you the wrong game but you don't have the receipt (cuz it was a gift)? Exchange for what you want later...like MW2.
 
Just got back with Brutal Legend, Halo ODST and Forza 3 for the price of two. Niiiice. Plan on buying Borderlands for PC. Add in Gay Tony and that's about it for my holiday season.
 
Picked up MUA2, ODST, and Borderlands on Sunday, going back after work today to pick up my pre-ordered copies of Tekken 6, R&C:aCiT, and Forza 3. Love this sale!

Yeah it is out and there are quite a few copies...I picked it up but I am not sure whether or not I want this one to be my exchange game for MW2 and / or AC2.
 
They were out of demons souls, so I got another Uncharted 2, Ratchet, and Batman, then traded UC2 into GS for Demon's Souls! :D

I was going to hold back on participating in this one, but I realized that I could use another Wii remote so was thinking of picking up Wii Play, Episodes from Liberty City, and then... something else. Not sure what yet. I'm kind of tempted on 2k10, but the people I usually play with aren't picking it up until the price drops a little so I feel like I might as well wait myself.

I really don't want to have to decide between Pro Evo and Fifa this week, though. Too much pressure.

Guess I could always go with Borderlands. Not sure if it's my kind of game, though. Wanted to rent first.

God damn, Best Buy. Making me think about things and make decisions.

Yeah, I am pretty scared to even delve into Demon's Souls...seems like a game that will take a year for me to finish haha.
 
Went in today to buy Forza 3, Ratchet and then get GTA Stories for free... well the shipment for GTA was delayed so they let me buy Forza 3 today and come back tomorrow to buy Ratchet and then get GTA free.

And Midnight... from above.. yes they had tons of copies of Ratchet at my store.
 
Wish they would just let me pick up Borderlands at the store instead of waiting for them to ship it. Ordered it on Saturday, still no shipping confirmation. -_-

Because its against the return policy. Wal Mart used to let you but they changed it. Almost Zero chance of it working now a days.

You could also take back the sealed game within 30 days of purchase and get your money back or exchange for something else.

If you do the no receipt route, you can do it, but you only get 1 per year.

If it is a brand new sealed game I do not understand why it would be a problem if the game is in their POS system. What are they losing if they let you exchange a new game for a new game? Think of all the people around Christmas that get the wrong games as gifts but don't have the receipt...there has to be the option to exchange new for new regardless of receipt.

Noticed on the receipt that two games were $59.99, and one was $0.00. SO, Later this week I'm going to check to see if I can return Batman for Demon's Souls, since Batman is on the receipt as $59.99, I'm going to try to return it later in the week for Demon's Souls (just won't open it). Think it'll work?

I'm sure with enough complaining and stretching of the truth I can pull it off.

As quoted above, as long as the game is not open you have I believe is 30 days, it could be 14, but you can exchange for whatever you want with receipt. If you open it, only for the same item, and only if it messes up, etc.

The salesman told me today you can as long as its sealed + recipt.
 
Tempted to double dip and pick up Ratchet, GTA, and something else... maybe Fallout GOTY edition. That would pretty much mean I can't buy a new game for the next six months, but it's so enticing!
