Best Buy is having a B2G1 sale (Oct 25- Oct 31). X360, PS3, Wii games, $59.99 or less

I got Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls and preordered Tekken 6 for store pickup. Demon's Souls is backordered on the site now and won't ship for two weeks but who has time to play all these games anyway?
 
Just ordered online:

Borderlands (360) x 2 (for me and a friend)
Tekken 6 (PS3)

They'll ship Borderlands but I can pick up Tekken 6 on Tuesday. Works for me!
 
I'm still amused how my Ratchet and Clank copy is expected to arrive earlier than a Boy and his Blob and Dead Space Extraction :lol
 
Cool.. has an option to pick up at the store :D I think I'll do that. I can't decide between Forza 3 and Borderlands. Definitely getting Demons souls and Ratchet though.

Online lets you pre-order. Just do that. I think waiting a few days is worth saving $60.
 
Goddamnit I'm extremely pissed right now.

Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2 - Already own. Especially with the nice preorder swag for Demon's Souls, why do so many here not already have these?

Forza 3, Tekken 6 - Preordered at Gamestop entirely for the exclusive swag (CE of Forza 3, and Tekken 6 calendar). I don't know why I'm so attached to that damn calendar, but I am.

Ratchet and Clank, GTA: EfLC - Preordered at Amazon with numerous discounts applied. Almost enough to negate the money I would save.

What I want is PC Borderlands, PSP Chinatown Wars, and NSMB Wii. But no fucking PC or PSP games or anything that hasn't come out yet, you're killing me here. There are other good games out there, but I can't take advantage of this offer without buying something I wasn't planning on otherwise. And I'm already swamped with games as it is. Damnit. Why can't those games be eligible?
 
Ok, im' home and buying online. Looks like you can do in-store pickup for the pre-order games. Too bad this doesn't work with Dragon Age. Damn.

I am getting Borderlands, GTA Liberty City, but can't decide between Ratchet or Tekken for the 3rd. Hmm...
 
Getting Brutal Legend 360, A Boy and His Blob and Mass Effect in my first round. Also damn no In Store pick up for the games ><
 
Got my price adjustment today. I have to say between used games and RLS this is the first money I've pumped into the video game industry in a long while.
 
These sales annoy me. I spend 15 minutes scheming over what to buy to take advantage of the savings before realizing that I'd be buying two additional games I don't really want.

Yeah i pretty much bought all the freaken games i wanted already with the amazon sales and credits.
 
I haven't opened my games yet, but I noted that they did NOT mark down all the games. My reciept says two $59.99 games and one $0.00 game. I wonder if this means I could take one of them back for Dragon Age next week...

I just did that, got Tekken 6, Forza 3, and R&C: A Crack in Time. Might go in store today and get Brutal Legend, Halo 3 ODST and Borderlands....

I may just skip this deal. I already have Uncharted 2 and Demon's Souls. The remaining games of 2009 I'm sure to buy are Ratchet, Modern Warfare 2 (PS3), and Dragon Age: Origins. Of those, only Ratchet works with the deal. I have never been a big Halo or Forza fan. I may consider Brutal Legend and Borderlands, but I'm not 100% sold on either.
 
Just an FYI too to anyone buying games (like myself) prior to this (within BB's policy)... Head back to Best Buy and they will price match the drops on the games. :D

Same here, although I would've been fine if I didn't already do the TRU one. For that one I got Batman (definitely wanted), Brutal Legend (wanted but not dying for) and then my friend gave me $40 to pre-order Bioshock 2 since there wasn't a third game that I would've bought if this deal wasn't going on.

Now with the Best Buy deal going on there are again two games I had intended to buy even before the deal but whatever my 3rd game would be would be something that I probably would never have bought if not for the sale. If I didn't do the TRU one I would've included Batman in it and it would've been perfect. I think what I might end up doing do is just get Batman again and put it on eBay.
 
Just a heads up for anyone wanting to do placeholders. My sale rang up:

FIFA $59.99
Batman: AA $0.00
Borderlands $59.99

So it does look like you may be able to do exchanges, but the second game is the one that rang up free for me. As always, YMMV.

I would get U2 or Demon's Souls if the plan was to sell one.
 
I just did some math, and if anyone was planning on getting Forza 3, Tekken 6, and GTA Episodes, it is actually cheaper to do it on Amazon if you have Prime.

44.99 for tekken, 54.99 for forza with 10 credit, them 28.99 for GTA episodes with credit = 128$

With tax the best buy deal will cost more.
 
so how does this work for games not out?

say i want tekken 6, forza 3, and ratchet on tuesday. do i just buy 3 59.99 games and take them all back on tuesday for those 3 games?

My receipt at Best Buy is $129.88. I'd rather pick it up with my own two hands when the savings is only about $2.

Plus when buyer's remorse kicks in later on when I look at my backlog and wonder why the hell I'm spending all this money, I have an easy place to return it to.

I was just surprised cause those were the games i was gonna get this week and i already have 2 of them preordered at amazon and was thinking of jumping over to the best buy deal, but since its actually cheaper im just gonna stay where im at.
 
Ended up checking out the brick and mortar BB near me and they had copies of Demon's Souls in stock, so rather than wait for my online order to ship I canceled it and picked up Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls, Infamous, and a PS3 Slim. I finally bit the bullet and am a PS3 owner thanks to this sale.

I'm with you, I just got Uncharted, and Fire Emblem DS. The only game I really was considering was Ratchet and Clank, but I just ordered it from amazon, it's $5 cheaper there anyway.
 
Just got back from Best Buy, picked up NBA2K10, Beatles RB, and Uncharted 2.

Would have picked up Borderlands, but some douchebag was walking up to the register around with 8 copies.
 
So wait, I can just go to bestbuy.com now and put three games in a cart and get um shipped to me and 1 will be free? Even if the game is not out yet (pre-orders?) I don't see any advertisements on the site

Start searching for games or adding them to your cart, it will be listed then.

Pre-orders only work for games coming out this week it seems, but if you search I'm sure there are loopholes.

And the shipping is free too it seems. But pre-orders do not work except for games coming out this week (i.e. they won't be pre-orders while the sale is still on).

Think I'm out for this b2g1.....already got my placeholders from the TRU deal and I've got enough backlog to choke somebody.
