Best Buy is having a B2G1 sale (Oct 25- Oct 31). X360, PS3, Wii games, $59.99 or less

They did not get in Episodes yet today and they did not have Borderlands. Good thing I work near a Best Buy, because that was a waste of a trip.
 
Picked up Tekken 6, Ratchet and Clank, and against my better judgment, Forza 3 (which I'll probably never play).

I'm thinking of biting on this deal again with cheaper games. It took me forever to find a third game to buy that was still full price (NG2Sigma was an afterthought). I was actually surprised to see most games $49 or lower.

Also thought about picking up Brutal Legend, but haven't read enough about it.

Sorry if it's been asked a million times before, but how are they on exchanging games? For example, can I go in Friday or Saturday if I change my mind on the 3rd game and swap it for an equally priced one? My games didn't show up as $40 a piece on the receipt, so the third game is $0.

I picked up Forza 3, Resident Evil 5 and Halo Wars on Tuesday, Halo Wars was listed on my receipt at zero cost. Went today and exchange Halo Wars for GTA Liberty City Stories with no problems, they Overwrited the price at zero cost at customer service.
 
After the TrUs deal I could not justify getting three more games. So, I found a couple of people who were more than happy to save 15 bucks on a game. I was able to get Demon's Souls for only $35 =D

Now I just need to find the time to play all this stuff
 
I went and picked up the new Ratchet, Borderlands, and Demons Souls. I attempted to pick up these three titles yesterday but they were sold out of Demon's Souls, though luckily the clerk said he had six copies coming in the next day. Tonight I got there and they only had 2 copies of it left. It was a toss between Borderlands and Batman, but I the co-op play in Borderlands won me over.
 
Got Demon's Souls, Smackdown 2010, and inFAMOUS.

Was going to get Ratchet, but the demo turned me off. DS was sold out at the BB close to me so I drove 20 mins both ways to the other one. All for a free game, lol.
 
Got Ratchet, Demon's Souls, and Borderlands.
However they are all on my shelf since I'm currently addicted to Torchlight.

Funny how that works. I got Uncharted 2, Ratchet and NGS2 on Tuesday, but have only played an hour of Uncharted 2 and zero of the other games so far because I'm trying to finish off Wipeout HD Fury first.
 
Extremely annoying experience and quite baffling too. I picked up the Tekken LE at $150 and two less expensive titles (R&C and Borderlands) only to get cock blocked by customer service and management: apparently although they'd be making $210 off this deal as opposed to $120 any game over $59.99 doesn't count.


I ended up walking out with just the LE but am thinking of going back tomorrow and rationalizing with a manager at another store: think someone can use the powers of management and over-ride it?
 
It pretty clearly states in the ad that it only $59.99-and-below qualify for the deal. I don't like your chances.

I don't like them either and I could see why they wouldn't want someone buying two Rockband Bundles and getting the third free but when they're sold out of the standard version it's kind of ridiculous. They'd stand to make a profit anyway.
 
Ratchet, Fallout 3 GOTY, and Beatles (for a gift) arrived today. So did Gay Tony.

But I can't stop playing Uncharted 2. It is amazing. GOTY for me.

Buy Uncharted 1 and play it before Uncharted 2.

Uncharted 1 is a great game, it is cheap, and it will be a bit of a let down if you play it after Uncharted 2.
