You've read way to much into what I've said then and are acting incredibly silly over something you imagined . All I said is blasters don't cause wounds that bleed they cauterize. I've said or inferred nothing more and your rush to conclude whatever it is you THOUGHT I was saying is completely wrong.

Then what was the point of that response exactly given what i was talking about? Did you just really, really think I was curious about the damage blasters made even though I was talking about my speculation on the rating?

That lightsaber fight in the snow looks like it'll capture the emotion of the fight that the prequels were lacking, looking forward to that scene most of all. They nailed the look in this film a nice mix of old and new. Glad to by excited for a movie again, it's been a while.

It's funny, a friend watched the trailer who for some reason thought with "Disney" owning the brand that the film would be more lighthearted but said the trailer convinced him otherwise. lol

I feel like I can't freak out on this page because the thread is already too many pages long :(

Trailer was awesome. I got more goosebumps on the Teaser #2 though. Probably because of the build up and God tier music

Never had a problem with the ewoks defeating the Imperials in rotj.

I didn't really ever think about it until I heard that they were supposed to be Wookies. That would be a lot more acceptable. They are large, strong, and intelligent. And i'm like "Ewoks... are weak, primitive, and fearful. How..."

My favorite Star Wars movie has always been The Empire Strikes Back. In part because it was the most serious in tone.

I have watched the trailer a few times.

Some of the shots are gorgeous.

and that Score.

If that is a preview of the score, I cannot wait to hear the rest.

I hope Finn smokes weed while listening to Nate Dogg, or Luke does heroin or crack onscreen. I'm not really sure why I want this to happen, but I do.

I don't have any issue with the Empire still being around, I mean it had a massive fleet that wasn't going to disintegrate just because the newest Death Star got blown up. Certainly there were probably per plays and chairs for a while (might still be).

Question. Is the whole "there are only ever two Sith" actual canon from the films? I can't remember anymore if that just cried up in the games or not.

To have a discussion about the film? Are you this openly hostile to everyone trying to talk to you or are you just deciding for some reason to have a beef with me about nothing? Are you aware you're on a forum and the entire point of a forum is to have a discussion?

All I've said was blaster wounds don't bleed, you could have said any number of things that weren't hostile or dickish but instead you decided to go immediately down that route. So I'm not sure what your problem is but you need to drop it or stop posting because you're clearly having some kind of issue with having a discussion on a forum.

And that's fine, but people are acting like this some some cultural event when in reality it's mass produced marketing
I don't know what reality you hail from, but in the one you're currently visiting most things are multifaceted and have multiple aspects to them.

Do you realize how much time some people have invested in SW over the years? So sorry if this doesn't match your highbrow concept of a cultural event.

Preeeety sure it's mentioned several times, in ep I and II.

Is anyone else giddy rather than bitter over Han's lines about their history? I'm in love with the implication that Kylo has a primitive lightsaber, and no one else in his ranks apparently has made one. It seems to imply that he might not have the force initially either. I find this so exciting because it brings the Jedi and the force back down to this extremely rare phenomenon that some people desire but can't emulate. Because of the timeline of the prequels, and how plentiful jedi were, the force was used so often to the point of losing interest. Having it be a such a rare thing, and having that tense and suspensful build up to people using the force is absolutely going to increase the "OH SHIT" factor ten fold.

Sorry but this just makes me so excited.

Ok, it's as much as a cultural event as the new Iphone release.

Youtube compression really does it a disservice.

Seeing it in proper HD on the download from Apple trailers. It is just breathtaking. The music, the sound design, and every iconic image.

I can feel the strength of the film's visual storytelling. Real myth-making.

The Joseph Campbell is strong here.
