Rumors from the so-called "leaked script", not sure about the authenticity.
That's what I meant by the "I believe". But those rumors seem to be pretty spot on.

I posted this on Facebook, but figured I would share here as well:
When I was a kid, I would go out in the back yard or out in the snow and play with my Star Wars figures (original figures that were passed down to me by my uncle). I would come up with crazy scenarios and adventures - stuff I could never imagine seeing, not even in the films, stuff that just didn't seem possible.
In the final THE FORCE AWAKENS trailer, I am seeing those dreams come to life. That's the only way I can explain why this trailer, this footage, this movie is so important and special to me. It is literally the incarnation of everything I've waited my entire life to see. Star Wars (and Empire in particular) is the sole reason that I do what I do with my life.
Star Wars is so incredibly connected to my existence.
THE FORCE AWAKENS is the film I have been waiting for my entire life.
We did it
We ruined a Star Wars trailer thread by arguing about nothing
Having The Raid actors won't mean the action will be good.
Beautiful. So, so well done.
Among all the things I love about it, man, it's cool that Luke has the distinction of not being unveiled down to the very last trailer. I sense a deep respect for the character there.
I have the feeling his reveal will be something beautiful. Maybe they'll go down the "cool action" reveal route, but having read what JJ Abrams has said about the character and knowing his past work, I think Luke's return will be something emotionally resonate.Beautiful. So, so well done.

I love this, this sums up almost perfectly how I feel too, i honestly 100% teared up during the trailer, and I know i'm gonna in the theater, this is a movie i've been waiting for my entire life too.

And then he can kick some ass.

Absolutely. They know he's the one person we're eager to see so they're keeping him shrouded.
If rumours are to be believed it's a shame he's not in it more but I'm not entirely believing all of the rumours. Some people on here are running round like they know everything about the film because of what they've read from Making Star Wars et al when in reality I've seen the same people been proved 'off' by various degrees following subsequent trailer reveals (not detracting from some have been proved right with other key elements)
Two different studios. The only link is the choreographer. Unfortunately they're not fully in charge. I think we're going to see a Ronda Rousey moment where we get these cool guys but the fights are really westernized and toned down.
That's Adam Driver. They show it right in the trailer. What if Luke is the man behind the mask, finishing what his father started?
Now THAT would be emotional no?
Anyway, amazing trailer, can't wait!
And it's not like they are used for their "star power" to sell tickets. Average Joes and Janes won't know who they are, and they aren't made known in promo material.Yup, JJ Abrams goes out of his way to get some of the best martial artists no mainstream moviegoer has heard of in his film and to assist in the choreography, only to tone it down and westernize it.

We're all in agreement that, that was Luke with R2, right? I was wondering when we'd see him. Even a hand is good enough at this point.
This feels like something big, and I'm beyond excited. As a kid I used to make stop motion video with my Star Wars action figures. I grew up adoring the original trilogy. This feels good. It feels right.
1:53 is definitely a reference to the original.:'(
I just can't stop watching. Really hope JJ and Kasdan have pulled it off.

Both the original trilogy and prequels have shown main characters working with scraps and salvaged machinery (and also on desert planets), I feel it was homage to the original movies, nothing out of ordinary.- The opening shots of Rey I assume doing salvage work come off as very non-Starwarsian. Made me think of the beginning of AVATAR.
It would be a great twist though. Seeing Luke go to the dark side in the new trilogy for some reason. Doubt that Disney would do it though. That is 100% Luke, that shot was in the last trailer as well and is the point where Luke is referring to himself 'having the Force'.
The whole 'Luke = Kylo' thing is ridiculous for many reasons, the biggest one being that it would incredibly stupid for Luke to spend the last trilogy resisting the dark side only to turn evil later.

lmao i wonder how people would feel if hayden's ghost showed up in this. please don't reply if you know something btw.

he isn't even in the poster, i think there must be a massive plot point around him. Can't wait i'm 32 and i feel like i'm 14 again

Best trailer in years
Crying so much

Was the term "Sith" ever used in the OT?
