The Dark Side is where it's at, had to jump on board immediately.
Excuse my ignorance, but are storm troopers not clones any more? Finn is legitimately a trooper on the run?
I gotta say that I really love this shot:

Is the one at the back holding a club? or giant cricket bat!
Turning on the Death Star laser or just space lens flare ?
Ren's helmet still looks silly and the voice along with it, ouch. I'm guessing he'll get injured then get a badass voice at the end.
How spoilerific is this trailer? This isn't one of those trailers which spoil the entire movie, is it? I'm tempted as hell to watch this.
Most cinemas in my area are making the 3D mandatory, fuck this shit!

Ren being a dweeby wannabe is probably on purpose.
Palpatine started that though. It was his idea. Vader didn't have an original thought in the OT until, "Hey, maybe I should throw this mofo down this hole."
It's a JJ Abrams trailer, that means no plot details whatsoever just a bunch of awesome shit happening that makes you go "what the hell is happening?!"
Not really. Really good trailer that still doesn't tell you much about the plot. You just get a general vibe of the tone and characters which is what a good trailer should do, along with getting you excited of course.
First, it could be some weapon or they could just be near some star. However, I don't get the hate for Ren's design, I think it looks awesome and his voice sounds cool. He's got a badass and unique helmet that reminds me a lot of my favorite "Jedi" of all time, Darth Revan. And, I think the voice is pretty good from the snippet we heard. It's got a nice little effect to it but you can hear his natural voice underneath which sounds very young, which is something else I like. I like the idea that this is a new chapter in the SW saga that will be shaped by young individuals not a bunch of old or middle age men who have already done everything.

I felt like I saw better acting in that 2 minute clip than in the entire prequels.Wow, the camera work is better than anything Lucas could dream of.
So the robot handed guy patting R2 is Luke, right?
Do you think we'll have a true villain that lasts more than 30 minutes? Screw you Prequels.

He's a Souls fan.Is the one at the back holding a club? or giant cricket bat!
Nothing about anything I've seen of this movie makes me optimistic with regards to its quality. In fact quite the opposite, it looks like shit so far.
I hope the movie will make me re-examine my stance.
Might clarifying? Can't really tell how you can tell that by the trailers. The only indication is JJ Abram's past records which is also the reason I'm wary of the movie.
Absolutely, I want to see this so much but I can't watch 3D. Fuck.
Best way to wake up in the morning, my HYPE is through the fucking roof

Visual effects look top notch like this is expected from this kind of production, but everything else leaves me unfazed, and usually trailers get me really hyped before being very disappointed by the actual movie. This time it's different all the trailers I've seen just make me really not interested in seeing how the plot will unfold.
It just looks like your average blockbuster without any singularity, any personnal touch. That's my impression so far, but I intend to see the movie obviously. If it ends up being a disaster I'll probably get a few laughs out of it.
