There's a lot in this trailer that has been throwing people in this thread for a loop. Or at least a lot of people have been coming up with interesting, if wrong, theories. But I won't say anything since it's not the right thread for it.

Anyway, I thought the trailer was pretty great. I did notice that JJ still can't help himself from the lens flare though, like in the shot of Kylo aboard a Star Destroyer bridge or Phasma walking with the Stormtroopers. At least he managed to hold himself back from using it during the dogfights.

It'll be interesting to see how Johnson and Trevorrow's films look.

edit: I do just want to say though that there will be some things in this movie that people absolutely love and there will be some things in this movie that people will get upset about. This is a Star Wars movie. It will be polarizing. There's only ever been two that the fanbase universally loves. But keep an open mind and wait to see how the trilogy goes.
