I'm really pumped for this game. I've seen no footage of gameplay, aside from that amazing e3 trailer.

CANT WAIT

Good news.

This seems like a good game to simply play around in mindless manner without worrying too much. It can be a nice game to play if you just want that one hour before going to bed after a long day at work and don't want to play anything intense or story-heavy. :)

Wonder how sales will be considering it will be very close to the Holidays and November, as always, is a pretty strong month regarding new releases.

I still remember the hype I had when JC2 came out. Too bad Just caus3 comes out on finals week :////////////

EDIT: removed second quote cause I thought the post was referring to JC3

Wow this seems super early for a December release.

Is it really that surprising? The game comes out December 1 and it's almost the end of October. The game has to go through certification and eventual shipment. If anything I'm surprised it didn't go gold a little bit sooner.

In Just Cause 2 any mission that wasn't to destroy something felt lacking so I hope they improve on that. Also, I was looking at the Kinda Funny video and I noticed that they also really improved on the way the game sounds.

It's about 6 weeks away so I do think that's pretty early. Not that it hasn't happened before though.

There's some November games that still haven't gone gold too. Fallout 4 being the most obvious.

Yea defiantly seems so considering fallout 4 hasn't yet.

Sorry, I know this is OT but if you could just humor me... If you say the word "definitely" do you add in an extra "a"? I've never understood this typo, is it just autocorrect? Or did it start out as "definately" (which makes a little more sense) and slowly change into defiantly?

I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just curious about this phenomenon.

I've never played a Just Cause.... are these games as bat-shit-crazy-badass as they look?

They are very much the kind of game where what you put into it is what you get out of it. I'm not one to experiment much in my games, so JC2 was a pretty tame experience for me. This in contrast to say Saint's Row 3, which just throws you into crazy scenarios. I enjoyed my time with JC2, but not because of its randomness.

Where are we getting that Fallout 4 hasn't gone gold, have they said it hasn't? If they haven't, I just think it's not going to be announced. Not every game gets a good announcement.

Genuinely surprised (and happy) this didn't get delayed to 2016. I always thought the Dec 1st date seemed iffy.

Obviously you don't want to compete with the huge November releases, but coming out a few weeks later hardly seems like it would help with that. I'd imagine people are still going to be heavily playing Fallout/CoD/Battlefront/Halo etc.

The only thing gone gold announcements mean nowadays is that a game should make its previously announced release date.

Grats to Avalanche, can't wait to dive in...although I somehow think I will still be neck deep in Fallout 4 when it drops :/
