Seems pretty fair as a gun. It seems to hover around before it detonates. I think your opponents were too busy trying to get a kill on you that they didn't think to boost away.

Charging up the Plasma Caster allows it to stick to the enemy whereas just shooting it off doesn't. The last enemy walked into the charged shot.

Ah, that would make sense. Still, it's fairly slow, I'm sure the booster paired with good reaction time would make easy work of someone wielding this.

Today is a good day, MP is live and plenty of people are streaming their headshot streaks, so tempted to pick up this game earlier then planned digitally tonight, that halo itch has turned into a nasty rash and I need to treat it soon.
Am now worrying that I won't be able to find a single game in Taiwan.

Yep! Just loaded it up and found a game instantly.
Have people, just don't to always be dependent on organizing a group. I like that in Destiny and CoD, one could just pick up and play without too much stress.
Hopefully BTB comes out soon.

You can also pick this up and play without stress, you'll be matched against players of similiar skill, just don't worry too much about rank and shit, enjoy it.

Halo ranked is very serious business for me, unfortunately. Got to 40 in H2 and 50 in H3 - it's just how I am. I wish I could just not care, but when there is ranking, that means I have to be really sweaty.
My main concerns is fighting a party with randoms. If the game matches parties with parties, then I wouldn't care.

I bought from the Singapore digital store, so 12:01 Singapore time is 5:01 UK time.
EDIT: It may even be 6pm

Nope, clicked Team Arena and it loaded instantly, as soon as I pressed A it said "loading dedicated server" or something and it had a full lobby.
No lag, no delay, smooth halo goodness.

The system is aware of QOS in regions and will expand search were that to be the case but the rollout goes east to west, so won't be fully normalized till US lights up.

Ah, the real reason people wanted data center selection...so you could lag out us games from halfway around the world. Glad they made the decision to not have server selection and ping locks

Even if there are data center selection I wouldn't try suicide by choosing NA
plus I hold my own in the beta when I basically was put on NA all the time.This question has come up a lot and I'd love to know the answer too. Does the matchmaking at least attempt to put parties against other parties?
Any info about south america? Because I cant find a single match here
