Yeah I can't see that actually being the case, but it's not like it would be hard to do it. Just rename a few of the folders in the beta and watch the Chaos ensue.

As it currently stands this thread would practically be in flames if we didn't have the info datamined already though.

Those 6 from the leak are pretty good variety wise since all of them are popular. 3rd one is definitely Urien in a robe, no way that's Akuma since it has a Illuminati-ish symbol on it. Guile looks to have a jacket(or long belt?) I suppose if that's him(most likely) in the 2nd pic. Juri's silhouette looks interesting since you can't really tell much about it. I hope that the picture is not showing the order of release though.....rather have Alex, Urien or Juri as one of the first ones.

It's just weird how most of the leaks pinpointed at Urien and Alex long time ago when we practically heard nothing about Ibuki, Boxer and Guile. Juri, Dhalsim and Zangief did appeared in one of those leaked list before people claimed that Zangief and Dhalsim are in the game. I'm not saying that it's legit but it's possible tho.

All my hopes reside on Zen now. Please match my taste.

I guess Ken and Cammy are all i'm interested in so far. And I don't like the recent cammy nerfs at all :/ . Made her too simple.

Alex is in the game as a background character to tide you over until the end of the year. Plus, the roster is grappler-heavy, so he's less of a priority in that regard.

The game needs some pure charge characters.
 
I hope they put Urien and Alex out early, because they're the only ones I'm interested in all, out of the DLC characters so far.

And Cody too, pleece.

I guess it's possible that one of those leaked lists was around the time when Capcom were still figuring out the size of the starting roster while they already had a set amount of characters nailed down (not necessarily finished I should add). The ones that didn't make it into the initial 16 were then shifted to DLC.

On the other hand it's kind of pointless arguing about which leak was right or not as we don't know whether they came from real inside info or were just guesstimates that may or may not be true in the end.
 
What if Boxer joined the Illuminati and knows one of the 66 or how many ever hidden arts!? I'm trying to figure out how they can shake him up.

I don't think they'd even take him tbh. And considering we don't have a boxer yet I don't think they need to do something crazy like that to differentiate him. He can also join the illuminati and still look just like he does in the first silhouette.

Yeah, I also think Guile (2nd, Stance), Urien (3rd, Illuminati symbol, will probably remove coat at the start), Ibuki (4th, Kunais, cheerful schoolgirl) are given at this point.
I'm sadly a bit more doubtful on Balrog (1st), Alex (last) and Juri (5th, looks heavily redesigned), but seems they'll be there too.
Really hope they don't fuck up Juri's look.

Personally thinking last one is a new character, but hey, you never know.
 
Kinda disappointed that the first two DLC characters are SF2. I guess it makes sense that Rog be the first character you can buy with Fight money.

They should have continued the trend they had going with the reveals and gone with 1 Classic followed by 1 new/non-SF4.
Something like Rog->Urien->Guile->...etc

I don't think the teaser means anything regarding the release order.
They won't make the female characters skip the summer costume DLC :p

I don't think there's anything here saying that this will be the release order.
Could see Ono changing it up from the image just to mess with expectations. "Oh a reveal it's gonna be Boxer! *Bam Urien* Well shit That's not in order*
 
Not seeing how you guys think Shadow 5 is Juri, even with the red outline, is it just a picture of raised leg or something?

Honestlty I can't see shit on number 2 and 5, I'm just going by the datamined stuff.
 
I thought it'd be sick if Urien started in his business suit, but if he lost a round he would shred it like in his 3S intro and go full banana hammock. The main problem with a gimmick like that though is how it'd work with an alternate costume.
