One thing I respect Graham for is that he consistently votes for Obama's cabinet choices and SC judges without partaking in the usual GOP BS.

Trump seems posed to underpreform today. He's too obsessed with his poll numbers. If he was a better adjusted individual (and stopped thinking in the reality TV mindset) he would try to parlay his business acumen into a an asset on this economic focused debate (regardless if he actually has the chops or not - he just has to convince Republican voters he does).

The whole concept of a "Free Speech Area" pisses me the hell off.

I think we should have a "Free Exercise of Religion Area" and it shouldn't intersect with the halls of Congress or the Oval Office.

LOL everybody likes Bernie Sanders. They just won't vote for him. Shame.

Edit: Well except Adam.

He's likable enough. :p

I will say, Graham's line about Bernie never coming back from the USSR got a sensible chuckle out of me.

Only idiots confuse communism with new deal FDR democrats.

The sad part is, its not just conservatives who don't even know their terms in a global perspective.

Did anyone really care about the JV debate after the first one? I liked the concept, and it was cool that Fiorina made it to the main stage after her performance in the kid's table debate. But my interest level can only stretch so much...
The first one had like seven candidates in it too. If Perry and Walker hadn't dropped out, they'd make the JV debate seem more reasonable. But as long as it's just these four...

They should split it into two equal sized tiers:
Trump-Carson-Rubio-Bush-Cruz-Fiorina-Paul
Huckabee-Kasich-Christie-Graham-Santorum-Jindal

(I bumped Paul above Huck mainly because he irritates Trump)

Then have an unaired lower-tier debate between Pataki and Gilmore in a locked empty windowless room somewhere.

Yes, yes, I know. It's not a substantive attack it's an optics one. And it's still funny to me.

I suppose that's fair, its just personally hard to see this kind of thing as funny considering its half of our government acting like bumbling fools

Fair point. I find the bumbling fools funny too, though. I always find toothless attacks funny. I love the art of politicking.

Solid kasich is going to go democrat. in the most epic heel turn in the history of the GoP party. will be replaced by liquid kasich in the next GoP debate.

First thought re: the preplanned stunt was Jeb calling on Rubio to resign from the senate.

Edit: But I also know that W will be in attendance at the debate, so wouldn't be surprised to see him do something regarding him.
