So, it will be the same case with Uncharted 4, right ?
I doubt it. Naughty Dog always seems to raise the bar in a way that keeps the franchise fresh and they get to take as much time and budget as they want.
And that's why it's also
fantastic that even ND has said that U4 will be their last Uncharted for a good while. You can't just keep making the same game over and over and expect it to be a home-run every time.
I'd love for ND to tackle something entirely different, get their creative juices flowing again and step away from the by then beaten-to-death development routines.
Subsequently, that's why it's also a shame that 343i is a development factory tailor made to pump out Halo sequels.
I'd say Halo fatigue is real both on the development side and the consumer side. You can't just reinvent the wheel when game after game you're stuck with a franchise like this. There's barely room or time to innovate on a bigger scale at all because even the fans demand the Halo they know and love.
