Warzone with a party is the best Halo 5 experience.
I mean popped, like previous Halos. there is bleed through where there didn't used to be, so now you can die in a shot even if your shields aren't down. It's not as obvious because you don't have time to react once it's down. I'll test it but I don't notice shields popping on opponents at least as obviously as previous games with the fire burst around them.
edit: you're right. It just seems like you yourself don't have the same amount of notice once popped as there really seems to be bleed through unlike Halo 3

Also ruined a guy's REQ Scorpion within five seconds of him calling it in. Man, that guy must've been pissed. :lol

This is like a top tier advertisement for why the req system is really fucking dumb for rare one shot cards

There's been shield bleedthrough in every Halo game except for vanilla Reach.
No. It's not dumb. It's risk/reward. Use your good cards wisely.![]()

Risk reward = hope someone doesn't run into the garage when you call in a rare vehicle and instantly destroy it? Ok.
wtf, magnum pack not containing a single magnum thing? What is this bs!

That's why you have a team, to mitigate risk. Lone wolfing it is, and will always be, a terrible idea, no matter how many tank reqs you have to burn.

Speaking of REQs, opened a few (2 premium, one silver, 2 bronze), and I'm pretty happy. Got a DMR, some armor, a Typhon cert, a Hydra cert, and a Chaingun Turret cert. I think I've gotten all I can out of the Bronze packs, not getting permanents consistently from those any more, just boosts. Time to go full time silver and gold!
I've been playing since Halo 1 (which I probably beat on Legendary 100 times) and I regret saying this is easily my least favorite Halo. I truly can't stand the flaccid campaign, it feels nothing like Halo and lacks any magic, and the multiplayer doesn't have anything to bring me back. Even Warzone feels unbalanced and brought in just to make extra money from Req Packs. It was a bizarre decision to consult pro-players for this game, the average person and %99 of people who buy the game are going to be looking for different elements in a game than pro-players do. To me, this feels like a completely desperate attempt to keep Halo relevant in the face of floundering numbers and strong competition. No one cares that Halo 5 is made from the ground up to be an E-Sport game, 343. We want fun.
Putting this game on Craigslist today, so incredibly disappointed, and being a big Halo fan since day 1, I know there's a huge amount of people who feel the same way. Just a shame, I really hoped this would blow me away.
Or the game could just spawn you in your base where it is safe when using cards like that.

Hey, if you want to spawn at the garage like a lunatic, who is the game to deny you? You have the option.

Anything that I get that is super rare I don't use until I get at least one or two more of them. Starting to build a nice little garage of loot to use later on.

I keep 5 of each item, anything else gets thrown into the REQ-Incinerator.
BR was a 4 shot kill though. 12 bullets. 11 in MLG playlist. Halo 3 had bleed through, like both halo games before it. Reach took bleed through out and people were pissed because it drastically increased the effectiveness of sprint + double melee since you could put 3 shots into somone and trade punches but end up on equal footing. You're shots meant nothing since the melee damage didn't bleed through into health.I played 4000 games of H3 and I swear that every normal weapon besides the BR required shield pop and then one more shot to kill. The BR took 14 bullets to pop shields so the 15th bullet could be dragged to the head.
europeans get put on american dedicated serversWhat's bad about the multiplayer?

so much fucking slayer in team arena...if i want to play slayer, I go into the slayer list. I want CTF ._.
Hey, if you want to spawn at the garage like a lunatic, who is the game to deny you? You have the option.
I only keep 1 of the worst stuff that I'm never ever going to use (e.g. Mongoose, Scout Hog), everything else is capped at 10 or 15, depending on how often I generally need 'em.
You have the option? I thought it was random if you used it after a death.

I'd really like a dedicated CTF playlist.
So I have six different SMGs to choose from and some of them seem to be nearly identical in function.
Most unique one I have is one that fires "kinetic bolts".... What does that even mean? More effective against vehicles or something?
