The cutscene character models are so weird to me.
Sounds good to me. Bonus that riku has an actual roll unlike terra.
There goes Mickey's perpetual smile. Finally!
+100 if his ears were aligned to the side of his head like Epic Mickey.
Damn i wanted to see the Frozen world :/
Any word about an NX version being at least "considered"?
Right, it's not like Square already announced Dragon Quest XI for the platform. We dont even know what NX is and if this thing even can handle UE4.
The DDD models are the same from the handheld and PS2 games.
As for the UE4 models, we just need to get used to them both in close ups and far away shots. They look weird because we've only had the PS2 era engine since the series debuted, so seeing something different for once is strange. But now we're moving on and its awesome
Whats weird to me is that they (particularly the shot with Riku and Kairi) still look like PS2 models.
Its the blank stare. I understand that back in the day separate models were used for important cut scenes but I kinda expected them now to at least look more convincing than those shots?
Anything more basic than those positions and they might as well be T-posing lolTheir postures that annoy me more. It's like they have no idea what to do with Kairi's hands.
YupSounds like the best thing from this event was that 'making of' video....which won't be released online to public.![]()

At least Sora has expression in his, but that's probably cause of the animation set for the shooter ride.
Maybe its just that scene, I'm probably overthinking things and its actually fine in motion.
FF15 has spoiled me and I should just be happy for new info. I should be more patient and wait for tomorrow's trailer.

It probably looks fine in motion, much like the E3 trailer.
Yup
And I want to know what was in the making off video.
I hope someone details it scene by scene x.x
Aibo has some detailed description on twitter, which I am sure someone will translate.
Apparently they showed making of 0.2 as well, where Aqua is fighting heartless. ( I want to see this!)
For KH3 they showed, some heartless, Marluxia's nobody, daybreak town in KH3 engine, Mt. Olympus and etc.
Damn. I want to see Aqua >.>
Isn't there a KH 2.8 trailer? She might show up there...
And I wonder if some of that stuff in KH3 will be in the trailer itself (I mean, why wouldn't Mt. Olympus be?).
And apparently there was a scene with everyone (Sora, Aqua, Terra, Riku, Kairi, etc etc) too? I wonder if that was UE4.
I think the KH 2.8 trailer focuses on Kairi and Riku (shown in that screenshot) and seems to show Aqua's back shot we saw from TGS....not sure if we get any new Aqua shots..

That's a good question actually. On the other hand though I seem to recall Sora in DDD having his regular clothes in the early trailers, so we might not findout until a later trailer.Any word if Riku, Kairi and etc are wearing new clothes in the KH III trailer.

Anyway looks like they didn't so let's not derail the thread. Do we have an hq version of the new trailer?
EDIT: ok read the op, it's coming tomorrow. Great

They don't show up in KH3 trailer.
"The KH3 trailer ended with Sora, Roxas, Namine, Xion, Riku, Axel, Kairi, Aqua, Terra, and Ven sharing a nice moment!"
What about this?
Thats for the special trailer exclusive for the event.
Well, I'm lost then.
The trailer we'll get is basically just an extension of the E3 trailer.
The rest was shown only to the attendees.

So what're the chances KH3 releases in 2017? Not joking, I'm serious. While a late 2016 release date is possible, we've not seen much of the game to suggest it would release as early as 2016.
It's absolutely not a 2016 game. Kingdom Hearts is annual and we know 2.8 is the game next year. It's 2017 at the *earliest* assuming that 2.9 isn't coming (possibly as a collection of I.5 and II.5 on PS4). Plus FFXV is next year and I doubt this its out before July. They wouldn't drop both in the same six months period. So what're the chances KH3 releases in 2017? Not joking, I'm serious. It's Kingdom Hearts. They'll find a contrived way to bring them back.Wait, Roxas, Xion and Namine will return? How?
Or maybe they will be ghosts or something like that (don't know what were Roxas and Namine at the end of Kingdom Hearts II).
It's definitely a 2017 game since Nomura has run out of things to re-release after next year.
