Fallout 4 has gone gold; leaked gameplay vids

Someone test Colin on that NPC recorded names thing. There was a Colin NPC in Fallout 3, so I'm hoping it's in there.

yeah, I care way too much about NPC's saying my name. dat immersion.

They might have been fined, but they sold boatloads of copies that day so I doubt they care.

Can someone please confirm if that you collect a bobblehead at special 10, it would go (+1)10?

If so, wouldn't it be best to wait until you maxed out all your SPECIAL to 10 THEN collect the bobbleheads? That'd be stupid and counter intuitive if so...

OR can you train your SPECIAL stat of 10 to 11 manually using a perk point?
 
I'm still waiting on a crazy last minute deal, otherwise I have the game for about 44$ in my basket at Funstock. I just hope they don't raise the price ;s

I can't confirm but if it works like Fallout 3/NV then the highest it can go is 10, so choosing 10 initially is a bad idea because then the bobblehead will be worthless, unless you have an effect that reduces your int by 1, so if you started with 10, and got +1 int bobblehead, it would still register as 10 if you had -1 due an effect


Does anyone know what time the game will be playable on PSN in NA? I'm wondering if I pre-order online, will the game be playable at midnight EST or PST on the 11th?

Cheapest is from cdkeys.com I believe. I got it for $38 with their Facebook coupon. They also have said they will give you keys in time for preloading.

On my PSN it says "Play on 11.10.15 Midnight ET"

So 12 AM it seems. Good thing I don't have an 8 am class the following day...

Pete Hines, their PR guy, gets that question a lot. He keeps stating that there is no plans of any kind to release official name list. One of those "Find out for yourselves" things.
 
BB had a promo for $20 off $20 visa checkout thingy and $10 in certificates after 20 days after purchase which kicks ass. Game ends up being like $35 including tax. I'm stuck with gift cards and don't know what to buy from that overpriced retailer so this was a nobrainer.

I don't mind prelaod that much tbh

I'm kinda worried about buying from cdkeys because they are not 'legit' as far as being an official reseller, although I don't doubt their credibility
Their price is currently 45$ and with their 5% facebook coupon it goes to 42.7$, unless I'm missing another coupon?

It's not a market place where people can sell you stolen keys, but they are not an official third party key reseller, so there's some doubt about where they get some of their keys, but as far as their credibility, I have searched a lot and haven't found anything bad about them

I did buy a PSN card from them, and they are also selling XBL cards. That's less concerning to me personally than buying a game on Steam

I've never used G2A but I made a test purchase of the Cities Skylines expansion and It all worked out. The site is legit. I have no idea how they get their lower prices though lol. Supposedly its a volume thing where they make up for the price cut by selling large amounts.

So I've been playing Fallout 4 for a week. Now that I have new recording equipment, I plan to make a fool of myself and do some video stuff. Don't worry, the plan is to just have fun with it all.

My video plans (I will be showing console and PC versions):
- Do a full video review.
- A 1080P/60 video of Fallout 4 on Utlra settings.
- A First 5 wow Moments (does this sound like something you would watch or too spoilery)?
- How Settlements work.

All my videos will be posted over here early morning on Monday 11/9, subscribe if ya like: https://www.youtube.com/user/warcrow

Then I plan to stream to fellow GAFers early Monday morning too.
