Getting Veteran's Day off will be nice since I can mess around with this game. Any tips for someone who never played a FO game?
Maybe the key resellers key is from Funstock which were delayed until today, haha.
I know that based on my playtime in Skyrim that it's safe to describe almost anything in the game as optional. You'll do the stuff that interests you. Gameplay-wise settlements can get you crafting resources and vendors that sell items, or you just might want to build something creative for fun.If the settlements are optional, what's the point of building them?
Sorry for the dumb question, I've been keeping myself kind of blind.
What way do I go? Ps4 or Xbox? I have heard some rumblings about the frame rate on ps4 but not much about xbox. The dip in resolution doesnt bother me too much

If you want yourself to stay blind dont read...;-)
You can make money out of it and once you set up vendors (with the right perks) you also get access to special items etc. Thats afaik...;-)

I heard there is a "what makes you SPECIAL" book in the beginning(the house) that lets you get more skillpoints, where is it?

I'll be giving this a shot in a little while.
Going to be a long month. Getting this for Christmas. This and XCX, I won't be needing another game for months.
Im playing since Friday and dont like the whole settlement feature at all. Ive lost my lone wanderer feeling and although it might be completely optional the game presents it to you with maybe the first sidequest you do...
