Cool, thanks man. I feel really stupid now (I guess that partly explains the Needs M/KB prompt when launching the game).
 
256k peak on steam..that pretty much says it sold 2 million copies in 24 hours since it was released in australia. damn bethesda. pc gaming is dead.
 
Really excited to pick this and Tomb Raider up in the morning.

Has there been anything definitive on which version of the game runs smoother between Xbox and PS4?
 
Despite some annoying bugs (stuck hacking a terminal, dog being dumb etc) been really enjoying the first few hours with it. The Diamond City radio DJ is fantastic and hilarious.

Bobblehead location:

Corvega Assembly Plant, end of the catwalk on the tallest roof tower.Repair Bobblehead.
 
I ordered the PS4 version from Amazon, so I decided to buy a physical Xbox One copy tonight. It gets to 18% and says installation stopped. Haha. Tried all the work arounds. There is the finest little mark on the disc I better go exchange it to see if I just got a bad disc.

I literally had no option. No up, down, W, S, just grey. I'll take my refund and play the game when it's playable for me, if ever. I even uninstalled and reinstalled.
 
It wants me to assign someone to the guard post i made yet I cant figure out how to do that with the 5 people I have in my hood.

This game really needs a tutorial for the building aspect of it

You're telling me. I put a bunch of furniture in storage not long ago and I have no idea how to take them out of storage.

My video drivers may have gotten screwed up while messing with skyrim enb stuff. I reinstalled video drivers and now I'm in the game !!!

I BSDed while trying to install video drivers too. Something was real funky.
 
Fallout 4 is going to overtake Skyrim's peak concurrent user record on Steam before the west coast can even legally play their copies.

Well most people probably wouldn't recommend a jack of all trades build, but I will. 4 in everything gives you access to most of the essentials, plus you can opt to increase them As needed down the road. I plan on finding all the bobble heads and just roll with a 5 in everything (plus a 6 in INT from the SPECIAL skillbook) and just take perks every level instead of increasing my stats.

I'm not interested in any of the really high level perk options, but that's me. You do you. I just think having a lot of options early on let's you be more flexible on a whim.

Thats not right.

It shouldn't take that long. Mine installed exactly when "Charisma" video ended.
 
Might need to get a Steam refund purely on the basis of not having Ron Perlman greet the second I hit new game.

Where's my Ron, Bethesda?!
 
Only have time this morning to play an half an hour or so but man they got me fooled.

I just assumed
that I would become an descendant I just entered whatever special values without any thought. same with appearance. Oh well, will see if they let me change stuff after escaping the vault. Otherwise, welcome mister 9 in intelligence, four endurance and threes otherwise all around powerhouse.
 
I waited two years before playing Fallout 3 with a lot of bugs and issues ironed out... I'm waffling between hyped and scared to jump right in tomorrow on PS4. Fingers crossed I am lucky again in avoiding gamebreaking problems.

Sounds like exactly what I'll do. I never used any of the companions in Fallout 3, and it doesn't sound like this game will make me want to switch that up.
 
Something is definitely wrong with my game. Playing the Steam version.

It's already crashed on me while talking to the vault tec guy.

And Im using a controller and the buttons aren't matching up, like, the buttons on the screen arent matching the buttons im pressing. when I close the game and launch it again, the button maps change..................*sigh*................this experience is turning out bad already.

Can't even get past simple shit, because i dont even know what button I press is going to do.
