They are randomly generated. But generally a legendary Deathclaw will only spawn where Deathclaws can spawn. Also you can clear an area out but monsters will spawn again after a set amount of time, hence no level cap.

The legendary gear also uses one of these random effects for weapon or armor.

So you got to be lucky to get the random legendary effect on the exact weapon you want. The only none random legendary (called unique) gear mostly comes from quests.

Figured out by accident that holding down "O" on ps4 controller turns on the flashlight. That would have helped earlier..

All within a settlment do. If you want them ALL to share, you'll need to set up supply lines (Charisma 6 perk) and assign a settler to do it. But that'll only be at your settlements, you'll find random workbenches that are in areas you won't be able to ally with.

You can at any bench. The weapon one scraps weapons, armor one some armor (not most clothes), etc.

A jerryrigged way to do it is drop stuff on the ground in an owned settlement and open the crafting menu near them. You can scrap anything in a settlement.

For just junk, just use the transfer option at workbenches (probably in Sanctuary since you'll want it there generally). There's a "store all junk" button.

I sent him back to the first settlement when I recruited cods worth and after that I saw him on top a random roof and then not at all. I didn't build him a dog house or I destroyed the only dog house there was.

I don't think they ever do explicitly. When you click on one of the workbenches you'll see an option to store all of your junk.

They don't share automatically. You need to grab the Local Leader perk w/ CHA 6, as well as assign people to run the supply lines, or different workshops won't share junk with each other. You'd have to manually transfer it all over.

Yeah, I've been gulping on rad-x and rad-away a lot.
It really made me want to cheat it out via console command. Is there any that can make you immune to radiation?

I had that problem but it was with my whole ps4. Didn't even have a launch ps4 either it was the original white destiny edition. Ended up having to send my whole console to sony to fix which they thankfully did for free

Yeah, enemies are generally harder.
Ghouls do actually run and leap at you, terrifying. And human enemies take covers and throw grenades at you.

Guys I'm having an issue on PC where like the first real quest I click the terminal and my guy just sways back and forth and nothing happens and I can't move and need to reload the game. Happened twice in a row and had to leave. What should I do ? 😫

Okay, early game side area help: I "cleared" the

Satellite dish base nearby to Ten Pines Bluff, including a crazy tough fight against a psycho with a minigun (really tough on Very Hard btw), and got a bunch of decent stuff inside including a perk that permanently makes you harder to see in stealth. So awesome! But there's a terminal in there, with some options that all say "Offline" and it says only authorized personnel may connect. It's not supposed to be hacked or anything. What gives?

Also, right after that:

Leveling up creates a save, awesome. Well, my save created by leveling up was two mongrel dogs and an Alpha mongrel dog disabling Dogmeat and then turning and running at me. I am overburdened so I can't run, and the best I have on me to damage them is the laser musket which is a terrible choice because they attack super fast and I have to crank it. I die in like two bites on Very Hard so I am taking a lot of chances to get past these dogs. Logic dictates that I should drop a bunch of junk that's on me, turn and run like crazy, hide, and get Dogmeat back and attack them more tactically to move past. But not how my build works. I keep trying over and over again, using VATS differently, choosing my critical at different moments, hoping something will save me. You know what saves me? The Mysterious Stranger, which is perhaps the most videogamey perk to have ever existed in a video game. I might like it even more than Ricochet because Ricochet really needs a killcam and doesn't have one. I activate VATS, he comes out of nowhere shoots the Alpha in the head and disappears, Dogmeat recovers, quicksave. Onward

Search around, there will be something you can pickup, a password or something, that will unlock it.

I find he shows back up when u fast travel. Whenever I tell him to stay and then forget he's now 2 towns away I just fast travel and he appears again.
