Welp. Some dickhead on Kotaku just posted the ending twist in the comments on an article about the Nintendo direct. God fucking dammit. I didn't even realize what I was reading until it was too late.

:-(

I can't get over how bad the voice actor for Preston is. That seems like an important character to get right. If that's any indication of the overall quality of the voice acting going foward... woof.

I was talking to my girlfriend and she was fucking blown away that this is a thing. I told her that pretty much until I finish the story I will be avoiding comments on ANYTHING that is gaming related. I've heard of this happen and I'm so sorry it happened to you.

Just exploring, looting, scrapping and barter. my building is pretty much empty, I'm out of material currently.

Great stuff brother!

Me and Dogmeat both sport skull bandeezies. Best item in the game IMO.

I find myself checking GAF too much rofl

Learning a lot here that's why but going to make a rule to check only like every hour

Is there anyway to just wipe Sactuary clean or do I have to just manually scrap everything that's there? So much random junk pieces laying around.

I'm having a little trouble with the settlement/power stuff.

I have a light globe hanging from the celiing and not sure how to power it. I tried connecting a generator to it but the wire won't stick to it. Help!

My settlement currently has a purifier in stagnant swampy water, a single electric light on a stick and a melon patch tended by a crack addicted old bag. #partycity

For people playing luck builds, what's your preferred weapon type? Pistols for lower AP per shot cost or semi autos for higher base damage?

Kill yourself. Hope that the save is near.

Or....grab a chair and physics your way out? Maybe? Maybe not? ._.; things like that suck

The evil thing about this is that they placed a trap mine just in front of that table that I am stuck in. It's almost like the table is the real trap and the mine just bait to make you jump on the table.

Coming along nicely with the stores I unlocked (tho I cheated Medic 1 and Collector 2 to have access to Clinic and the "big stores", felt pretty cheated when I unlocked Local Leader 2 (spent 4(!) points on it!) and didn't unlock every type store. :X - removed them afterwards of course!).

The bar is really popular, tho for some reason they like to stand in and on the tables of my little tavern:

Is Scribe Haylen supposed to just keep giving you the same fetch quests? Mainly the Rocky Narrow Park one? I did it first, then she gave me another, then she gave me it again, and then gave me the exact same quest again upon completion. I'm all for easy free XP, but I'm hoping this isn't an issue

Stupid corvega factory been wondering around for like an hour trying to finish
the first step
, also it must have had a 100 or so raiders outside an in.

Finally about 5 minutes after this post found I was
missing a button on a metal walkway and the main raider guy was sitting in an office right after
.

I spending a stupid amount of time crafting junk for sanctuary and upgrades for weapons and such. Does anybody know if you need to assign a worker to earn crop or one "farmer" takes care of multiple plants.

My main complaint with the pc version is load times. Fast travel can take up to 10-15 seconds. And some indoor to commonwealth transitions take forever as well.

I have 16 gigs of RAM, it should really be caching tons of crap to that, but it only seems to use 3 gigs.

Seems like they hard-coded it to console memory budgets.

I'm glad I'm not far into the game since I just realized that you can actually put level up points into SPECIAL this time, lol.

This is the story of my first play through. Though I new the part you missed, there's so many things that I'm discovering about the systems that aren't explicitly told to you that makes me feel like I just want to start over again but I'll power through nevertheless.

Just took down Swan -- the reward is nice but too bad it's
a unique power fist, so good for melee-only
. Big shoutout to the two super mutants who decided to join the fray and provide me with some breathing room.

Only really needed if you aim for a particular perk tho. It's not worth it just for the "stat" itself.

Yeah it's something I may not even use since I pretty much have all the perks I want unlocked and available, but good to know there's a bit of flexibility there esp since there's no level cap.

I think the main issue with the way the stats are now is that there aren't enough downsides. I should be an idiot with 1 INT. I should be a fragile blind fool with 1 END and 1 PER.

Lol gave Piper a Fat man because I was too heavy and she proceeds to use it.

yeah i started doing that for agility cuz mine was really low and it's made my life so much easier vats and all.

It happened to me aswell. It is because you haven't cleared that location completely maybe missing 1 enemy?

It's roughly similar to the Intensive Training perk, which lets you put a point into any SPECIAL attribute, but now you can do it more directly.

For whatever reason I was under the impression FO4 was setting a harder limit on SPECIAL attributes outside of buffs to it you find while exploring (bobbleheads, clothing, etc).

Holy shit Glowing Ones are OP as hell. Fought a bunch of ghouls, with a legendary alongside a glowing one near the end. I had no idea that big radiation move actually revived other ghouls after I killed them, so I had to fight the legendary twice while still dealing with him.

...atleast I found power armor in the end. Third set now.

Install it on a SSD? Mine are about 5 seconds or less.
