So what do you want to see in HALO 6?

For me personally, I think they have a chance to shake things up a bit by bringing in elements from Mass Effect and Destiny. I like the idea of having a galactic map where you can choose where to go and make choices to help in the big battle at the end. I think it would be a neat idea to have Infinity on the run trying to keep ahead of the bad guys, and trying to survive by securing resources and what not. How sweet would it be if you could choose your fireteam. You play as Chief, but can pick Linda or Arbiter, and others depending on their special skills. We already see they have special skills in Halo 5. Is there a mission where you need to be stealthy? The pick the Arbiter and his cloaking ability to help, etc.

Gameplay wise, just cut back on the crawlers!

60fps is the only way now

The prometheans are great, just get rid of the crawlers and watchers. Expand upon the soldier classes and knights and it will be all good. Fuck the haters.

There is no need touch the multiplayer. It is already the goat. Just region filter it ffs.

But I would love to see a destiny in the halo universe spin off. Taking your fireteam to forerunner or covenant worlds, armour and weapon loot/reqs, strikes, raids the fucking lot!

Oh yeah, next Xbox only please. No xbone holding it back..

- A decent story.
- Master Chief only playable character (outside of co-op obviously).
- Level design more like The Silent Cartographer and Assault on the Control Room.
- 60 round MA5B .
- Twice as many MP maps at launch.

Most of the stuff I want are things that could be added on to Halo 5, like a good file share and community creation discoverability system and more options for custom games. Hopefully when they add Forge next month, this stuff will come too. Also, I need more Warzone maps.
From Halo 6, I just want a continuation of the story in Halo 5 so far.

Better character development. A solid story arc conclusion. Split-Screen, Firefight, and proper Custom Games. Halo 6 needs to have all the gameplay mechanics Halo has always had, not just drop a ton of them at random.

Splitscreen
Switch out Locke with the Arbiter
No more req system
Have BTB and Forge at launch
A more focused story with a longer campaign

That's pretty much it.

- Get rid of Sarah Palmer.
- Copy the Destiny Bumper Jumper control scheme so I don't have to remap my controller at a system level. (where A is Boost instead of Super ability)
- keep PVP just as good as Halo 5, but ditch Warzone
- Go back to writing engaging character based stories that make me care about the protagonists like you did in Halo 4.
- actually, if you could just make single player exactly like Destiny and I could make my own Spartan and buy stuff from the Speaker with Motes of Light, that would be cool too...

Edit:
- and get rid of the Prometheans. They're just not as fun to fight as the Covenant or Flood... Or Hive... Or Fallen... Or Vex... Or Taken...

- Get rid of sprint and armor abilities
- More maps at launch
- Don't skimp on modes at launch ie give us BTB, Forge, Split screen ect...

This x a million.

Halo 5 is the first Halo game I've ever sold off after playing through the campaign, largely due to this feature missing.

Splitscreen +1

Halo 5 is the first Halo that I had sitting unopened in the box a week after coming out.

Trying to figure out whether or not to get an extra console to play with my son (I'd get a digital copy of it to share then) or just leave it there.

If I get an extra console, then we'd be playing in separate rooms and it's just not the same. (He's only 8, so splitscreen works best for us)

Pvp is great.

For Campaign, kill off the eu and shark jumping, no Prometheans. Just give me GOOD CHARACTERS doing simple cool things in an interesting story

4 and 5 were way too complex, no interesting characters, terrible promethean combat.

Not forcing us to play as random characters we don't know or care about just so they can sell more novels, toys and comics is a good start. Additionally, they could also not cut so much content from launch that keeps people hooked beyond just multi-player. Where is the campaign scoring? Campaign theater? Firefight? Spartan ops? Do you know how much of a chore it is to replay campaign? They haven't even given us things like rally points to skip the early slog of the campaigns just to fight some of the good battles. There is so little to do as a single player.

Though I think they should expand on the cutscene and talking missions. Makes no sense why we have to jump from level to level with just a small cutscene and loading screens? Why not have us return to Infinity after each level, get some cutscenes, reflect on the mission, talk to characters, maybe pick up some extra objectives? 'Hey Chief, we're getting hammered by jackals with Snipers in this level, if you get a chance, can you kill them with headshots so they know not to mess around with us?' or 'Hey, I heard the Covenant are using th refuelling towers to keep their pelicans flying, maybe once you're on the ground and see them, you can destroy them and taken them out'. Just stuff like that. Changes up the monotony of the campaign.

If they want to keep the coop focus. Make us play as chief. We don't care about Jameson 'I'm not Chief' Locke, or the rest. Make the new team Chief, Locke, Arbiter and Palmer and then interchangeably add people like Linda for levels where you need a sniper etc.

I don't know, they did a lot right with the game. What do I know. They should just make what they want. If they don't listen to fans, the game sells but drops off. If they listen to fans, the game struggles to sell, based on the NPD threads. They know better than us at this point I guess.

This is pretty much exactly what I want from the campaign. Halo 5 is clearly going in this direction but I think it suffers from being a bit "in between" and not using the new ideas like story missions and squad gameplay to their full potential, possibly from fear of attracting criticism for deviating too much from the traditional Halo campaign style, but with the MCC now working well the XB1 has more than enough traditional Halo campaign content available already. I also think it would be fun to have some light RPG elements in the campaign as long as they keep that shit away from the multiplayer.

Competitive multiplayer is pretty much perfect already, just add more maps and game modes but keep the core gameplay exactly the same as Halo 5.

Add a firefight-like mode where you can use legendary REQs without fear of getting killed straight away for more casual fun. I'm hoping they add this to Halo 5 but that's probably not going to happen.

Put in split-screen even if the framerate takes a hit. I'd be perfectly okay playing at locked 30 FPS when using split-screen for example.

Better Story with better cutscenes. Have a sense of isolation perhaps on that thing that appeared at the end of the legendary ending.

A better more epic marketing campaign. I like Agent Locke. But the whole Locke vs Chief thing didnt feel as epic as "Finish the fight" or "Defend Earth". Halo 6 should really be about
Cortana
hunting the Infinity and Chief and perhaps have her tormenting him.

EDIT: Keep the 60fps at all costs. It feels so much better. Fuck the haters.

For campaign: A retcon of all media released after Halo: Reach. The story fell apart post Bungie.

343 has had some great story ideas but I do not agree with the execution.

Better storytelling and pacing.
In-game focused narrative (not leaving parts of the story to other media)
Chief & Locke team (ala Arby & Chief)
More vehicle sections and more small battles
More variety of enemies.
More Exuberant Witness

Pretty much.
Also...
Flood.
Fewer promethians.

Get rid of the Prometheans.

They are boring and their weapons are terrible. Playing Halo 5 reminded me why I stopped playing part 4. Prometheans bore me to tears
