I may have found a glitch for infinite mini-nukes:
Doing the Cabot House quests, after finding Emogene, when you return to the house, all the items change from steal to take, allowing you to loot the house. If you leave before accepting the final quest to go to the asylum, you can leave the house and reload, all the items and containers will respawn. There is a mini-nuke in the basement.

It uses AP though. Eh, not a big deal I suppose.

The 4th perk even lets you fast travel while over-encumbered---truly a hoarder's wet dream comes true, hahaha.

Anyways, anyone playing a low Charisma character in here? I am kind of miffed about how Charisma is tied so closely with stuff like settlements etc etc that it feels like it's a "must" have... making you compromising your other SPECIAL stat.
I'm not super far, but I've been mostly okay with the Charisma stuff I carry around a set of gear to boost it and a couple of grape mentats. If I have all that stuff up I never fail a check. I'm contemplating dropping points into it though a lot of gear is tied specifically to settlement vendors.

A few screens I took.

Tired of these terminal problems. Stuck again at a terminal in the museum. PC at 75hz...so much for that...guess I try 60hz and see if it will work. If I get stuck again I am done till I see some patches.

So I got an interesting bug that I'm not really sure what to do about. Some settler decided to get into my power armor in the Red Rocket garage, and now he's stuck in it. Except the power armor is invisible so he's just standing spread eagle with enormous stretched out hands. I can ask him to get out of the armor, but he can't actually do that or even move. Anyone had this happen?

Im just going alone with decent strength and the lone wanderer perk. Im sitting at 340.
I need companionship. Which is why I have Piper with me, and always listen to the Radio.

I get lonely :'(

Can you pickpocket him? If so, steal the Fusion Core and he should get automatically booted from the Power Armour. You can do the same thing to enemies wearing Power Armour too, and then stealth-attack them when they're out of the armour.

Try the old leaving and waiting for 48 hours trick.

So didn't know you can save scum on those surprise item fallout lunchbox things.

Is there a list of what you have a chance of getting in these?

I like the fact that I made a Dinner hall for my settlement and they all eat and chill there every night. This game is amazing.

It even has a jukebox with classical music playing. Its so nice.

How do you guys manage your inventory weight?
I've disposed all of my junk and only bring 3 weapons and one set of armor, but It's still sitting at 200-ish. I hoarded everything and I have no idea where the weight come from.

Tried to pickpocket but it would only show his standard settler items. Did the 48 hour trick and he's back to normal, but the power armor looks like it's permanently gone. Thanks, Bethesda

I had this problem since I had asstons of healing items, like meat from animals and stuff. Those actually add up pretty fast.

I got in the habit of favoriting stuff like purified water since I had over 50 of them and never used them to actually heal.

I gave up on building cause I couldn't get the second floor working. I tried building the wall first but I can't put stuff up there.

Also you can find fusion cores in lunchboxes....

2.) I thought there was a perk to allow resources to be shared between all your settlements, so you still had access to all your stored equipment and resources regardless of which settlement you're at. Is this a thing, and if so how do you access it? I've checked the perk chart but I can't see anything that relates to that. I'm already Local Leader 2.

Go into Workshop Mode in a settlement. Select a person. There will be a command "establish caravan" or something. On Xbox I think it's LB. Then you pick a target and they make a caravan to link the resources.

On the Map screen in Pip Boy you'll gain an option to view current caravans.

10 weapons atm

Automatic rifle, sniper rifle, non-automatic beastly rifle (that you buy in vault 81), exploding ammo shotgun which is my new favorite, laser rifle, laser musket which is by far my go to for getting shit done (6 crank mod does ridiculous dmg), 10mm silence pistol that looks like something from splinter cell and I can unload a full clip in VATS (it has that thing where it uses less AP), kellogg's gun (just 'cause), Missile Launcher and I just got a special Fatman. So 10. I also just got a special plasma rifle (finally) but haven't modded it yet.

Any one sent
Curie from Vault 81
to Sanctuary?

Sent? She's a companion, like thats not even a spoiler at this point :p

goddamn, a bunch of raiders tricked me into following them into a house thinking there was a dying person I needed to help inside.

They then proceeded to destroy me

The AI in this game are kind of amusing. I once saw the settlers in Sanctuary all go to bed around 12am, except Garvey. Then they started going to my bar the minute the sun rises. A bunch of useless freeloaders!

Holy shit was I the last person to figure out I should scrap junk in my inventory? This is probably gonna save me like half my carry limit.

Right, that could be the culprit.
Honestly, I've never open or even take a glance at my aid inventory anymore, as I've already set the substantial ones to the shortcut (stimpack, radaway, etc). I guess I'll have to check and clean it up later.

Mods take up half a pound each. And everytime you mod a gun, the old mod goes in your inventory.

Also yeah food is usually half or a full pound each steak. Also water is half a pound per bottle

I don't really like putting character names you meet later on. Hence why I spoiler tag it for people not that far on.

I think everyone knows about the companions by now dude. And Curie especially, people were talking about her like a day after the game came out :p
