Skyrim also had a stutter problem, hence the stutter remover that is used for all of their games.
Ah, well then I should have specified that (capital) "I" never had noticeable stutter in Skyrim, not on three different PC builds.
That said, I'm sure the bump to more complex lighting, higher resolution, longer-drawing shadows, denser views, and more textures to load must account for it then. I currently have vsync disabled in the ini files, and enabled in Nvidia Inspector, along with a 60 fps cap via RTSS. The aforementioned settings do considerably diminish it, but I'm experiencing what I can only describe as asset loading stutter, especially outdoors.
I wish the devs would at least give us a hint that they're listening and/or working on a patch for some of these issues.
