For perspective, I sold my GameCube version for $80 a year ago on Amazon.

Now it's worth $100 + in "like new" condition.

I was really happy to see how much it's worth when I first checked about a year ago. Mine is about as mint as it gets for a used game.

Not entirely true. I noticed the Wii U went up by $20. It was $299.99 for the longest time for SM3DW bundle but now it's $319.99 @ BestBuy. Same thing with the Pro Controller which went up by $5.

And not to mention their entire games lineup.

Folks are likely right that this isn't the final price.

When the gamecube adapter for WiiU went for sale it was 69.99 and everyone scoffed. I pre ordered anyway and it shipped for 24.99 while everyone else scrambled to find one

They didn't, it's a pretty crappy looking amiibo to be honest.

Anyway, I'm sure that's a mistake. There's just no way. Doesn't make sense that prices would jump from 80 right to 100, skipping 90, even if they wanted to charge more.
