Hmm I'm still hyped for the movie, but showing Doomsday was pretty unnecessary. Then again so is his existence in this movie

Doomsday is boring, should never be the focus of a film.. Give me brainiac or fucking lobo.

Nah, that's Doomsday.
Although I think, after seeing Zod get wheeled around Luthor's lab/compound in the last trailer, some people were wondering/hoping it'd be Bizarro as opposed to Doomsday.
But it was pretty much always going to be one of those two as soon as Zod showed up.
Doomsday has always been shit.
Nothing about Doomsday has ever been good. He's just a dumb brute for superheroes to hit and be hit by.
It's honestly the most logical way to introduce Doomsday and not make an entire movie devoted to him (and to also avoid the mess that is "The Death of Superman"). Doomsday is a humanoid Kryptonian monster that survives on solar energy the same way Kryptonians get their powers. He becomes stronger and adapts against what killed him with every passing death. To take a dead Kryptonian and use it as the basis for a dumb brute for the Trinity to hit makes sense in the context of the universe.

Doomsday can always come back, and stronger. Might even be planned as he doesn't look to be in his final form yet.
They don't "choose" that. Some trailers are attached by the studios, others by the cinema chains.

Way too early to be throwing Lex into his battle suit. You don't blow your wad with your A tier villain that easily.
I'd honestly laugh if this turns out to be the case.
I doubt it though since I believe Cyborg is also crammed into this.

Wow. I never had a trailer turn me off to a movie so fast since Terminator Genesys.
Affleck looks great and seems to really nail the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman more than I expected and I'm happy about that.
What the hell is with squeaky voice teen/Joker Luthor? Luthor has always been a bit campy in the movies, but not to this level.
Way to spoil the whole fucking movie trailer! All that build up to the Supes vs. Batman fight is killed now that we see them teaming up with Wonder Woman to take down Doomsday. You might as well show them shake hands and hug because this is obviously the point in the movie where they stop fighting.
Civil War looks 100 times better than this.

The only saving grace was Affleck. Christian Bale was one of the worst Batman performances I have ever seen so Affleck looking better than him is not surprising. Too bad he is stuck with Snyder's direction and some poor supporting actors.

I also get the impression that lex knows who everyone is at that party. I get a vibe that he really enjoys the art of manipulation.
And I wholeheartedly agree, but I think he could have been used as good plot device to to further explore Supes' weakness even with all the power he's got if used right.
But now he's just gonna get whacked by the trio

My only complain here is how obvious the CGI looks. It's like they purposely want to make it look like CGI. Other than that I guess it's pretty ok. I like the mysterious vibe of the first trailer better though.

If you're putting wild and crazy shit into a movie, the tone had better be wild and crazy too. This is what Flash and Arrow and the MCU get right a lot of the time.
The first half of the trailer, as well as the previous trailer, sets up this psychological rivalry and brings in themes about vigilantism and how the world would react to godlike superpowered aliens showing up and blowing up whole cities. The clips of Superman in court and Bruce watching Metropolis get destroyed show a real effort to portray the effects of MoS in a human way.
And then all of a sudden Dr. Frankenstein creates his monster while detailing his maniacal scheme in the most expository way possible and now Bats is quipping one-liners with Supes like Nathan Drake. And then a woman in a miniskirt shows up.
It's like two different films.
That was my first tought after I send the post. Strange decision, I would put him in a Man of Steel movie, but hey, lets wait for the movie.

BvS doing well only means good things for any Marvel movie. It means the superhero movie genre bubble that Disney has invested in isn't going to pop yet.

in an earlier draft of the script, the villain of JL is the one that gives Batman the nightmare. It was removed from the script he read a month before shooting began. Darkseid is rumored to be the villain for JL and these demons are from Apokolips from what I've read and seen on twitter
