- the other BTB Forge made maps that we know are already done since the cartographers made them months ago

All that would far increase whatever they think adding 1 million to a prize pool would do.

HCS stuff has no effect on the actual development on the game.you know
 
Urban warzone. Hell yeah! Looks like a good update in my book, but then again, I don't care too much for arena, so I don't know what exactly we're gaining in the update vs how much is just repackaged presents.
 
I assume the release date is going to be announced this coming week since the Halo Waypoint article said info for the December content will be next week. If I had to guess, I'd say the 15th or 16th is the when the content releases. Either way, I really cannot wait. It looks great!
 
Heavily disappointed by this, if this really is everything. The lack of gametypes is just bullshit. The new Warzone map was already shown to us several months prior to release. Still can't get over it how they straight up said 6 Warzone maps on launch, while in reality we have only 3...

1 Flag CTF has never appeared to be a weekend playlist nor is it possible to create it right now, as far as I know. Are you sure about that?

Nice spot, added the official info to the OP :)

So a pretty good month from the sounds of it. Forge mode, an Arena map, 2 BTB maps and a Warzone ma + the REQs and such.

Can you explain to me how someone who hates something keeps spending time and mind on said something?
Why does one do it and what do they think they get out of it?

Warzone map looks really good.
 
So the 2nd worst map in the game (non forge) gets a remix? yayyy. Warzone map looks dope, immediately reminded me of Halo 2 metropolis area where the tank gets blown up by the scarab.

Yeah its in custom games, under game modes > 343 Industries > Neutral Flag

And I said its slated to...as in, in the future.

I actually just feek a little sad. I know I shouldnt but between this and Sony's apparent pa2 cross buy issue. I feel I need to just go back.to classic games and give up on some things in today's market.


Plus I shouldn't actually feel bad about it..
 
Every time I go to a Halo thread I see Jack the Nipper complaining. You don't like the game, all gaf know it, resell it or refund is you hate so much, why you just continue to come to threads. To this point it just trolling.

I wouldnt look into no mention of new game modes as a bad sign just yet. It was a hype trailer, advertising Halo 5 to people who havn't yet bought the game just as much to those who have. They're not going to put 'FREE MAPS, FREE ARMOUR, FREE CONTENT, FREE ROCKET RACE GAME MODE'. Like what.

I just checked and it's there... They must have added this with the BTB update, because that wasn't there on launch, was it? I have seen it for the 1st time now.

It's not that you're opinion isn't valid and everyone has the right to express their opinion. It's just you enter every thread over and over and over again and write the same stuff over and over again.

We know you don't like halo 5. We know you don't like 343. How many times are you going to keep posting it though. it's been over a month and you're still going. At some point ya just gotta move on if the game isn't for you and you're not enjoying it

If this update includes all the missing gametypes (Oddball, KoTH, Juggernaut, Infection, Race, Territories, Assault) it will be perfect.

Oh man, that trailer has me hyped for this month's update! I have way too many games to play as it is, but I'm glad I decided to make Halo 5 my main game.

And I'll admit: I'm responsible for contributing about $100 so far to the HCS prize pool... Hell, the first thing I did today when I got home from work was drop $10 on the HCS REQ pack.

Them saying they would crowd fund the pool is one thing. Them not having oddball, King of the hill, 1 flag, assault, etc at launch is another. It's not even just about the maps.
 
I'm dismayed by the fact that some folks are not noticing that they aren't exactly being given new free content aside from work that was put into remixing Plaza. Halo 5 is disappointingly light on content and what they've announced so far still pales in comparison to the content that Halo 4 and previous games had at launch. This shouldn't be celebrated.

I admit that Halo is.my favorite, most played mp game ever. My play time and time in the halo threads ha e dropped drastically. I had hope I can help 343 magically understand why they have drops in sales and player count.

I know it's like a dream.. Come on nipper... Just work hard and you can do anything little buddy... But I see that sometimes dreams just can't come true lol

I honestly wish I was in notchs position. I'd make a new halo inspired shooter my self.

I'm seriously hoping there is more to this update. Gametypes are critical.

If this is all it is then I 100% agree. The Warzone map was shown off in pre-release so that's not new either. I expected it to be one of the 6 Warzone maps at launch.
 
Why are you people more interested in strangers getting your money in a halo tournament then the money you spend on req packs being placed back into the game via game modes that should have been there since day 1 instead of say.....breakout....

Oh I doubt this. This is ms man. They have money. They aren't losing money or having issues using money to make maps. You don't believe this do you?

They just have their focus,time, management in the wrong places. Seems like they are managed really poorly.

But that's exactly what this thread is, people wondering and hoping new modes are finally coming. This isn't 3 pages of people cheering over a $2 million prize pool.

343 keeps doing the same stuff over and over so what he says is valid. Those two btb maps are most likely forge, another arena remix, a warzone map already shown, and no new gametypes. I bet if there's another arena map it's gonna be a forge one based on the space theme.

That's very inefficient.
What about just letting it go?
I loved and want back Modern Warfare 1 multiplayer, but being negative about it is just a waste of time and energy because I can't change anything. So I let go.
