Same. MB seems like a fusion of Yusuke Urameshi and Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho. I love his design and his personality. It doesn't help that Murata is giving him a lot of attention and ONE is hyping him up a lot with comments like. The databook also puts him pretty far up there powerwise, too.MB being able to solo Dragon threat levels and the Garou arc ending differently if he were present
Yesssssss and Kuwabara is my favorite character form YYH. Shame the series ended with him not being super into fighting, but I gotta respect the man, 'cause he got that sweet pomp goin' on.

To be fair, we haven't seen many of the S class in action yet besides the likes of Genos or Puri, both weaksauce. Tatsumaki is insanely powerful (she's #2, afterall) but she's not the only one with an OP ability in that class.

Murata's responsible for the new angles and shit but Tatsumaki's dress is essentially the same in the ONE version. Even ONE differentiates Fubuki and Tatsumaki's dress despite his art ability, lol

A real shame that such a good show had to go down the creeper route.
Fubuki and Tatsumaki wear more or less the same dress in the ONE version. I think Fubuki's has it splitting open lower...maybe?, but in the latest chapters you can see it splits open in the same way as her sister's.
Tatsumaki's dress behaves more like a dress in ONE tho, and there's little of the male gaze present in Murata's.

He draws Fubuki's initial dress different than Tatsumaki's. Yeah they look the same in the recent chapters but that could be chocked up to his art ability. It could very well that she changed clothes though.

In any case I'm getting a kick out of seeing the anime/manga comparisons. MH have remained surprisingly faithful to Murata's panels, which in turn were very close to ONE's. It'll be interesting seeing how they handle the last two episodes.

Yeah, the character feels off. I would enjoy him more and the rest of the show if they didn't give these jobbers detail. Keep them as Pig God or Watchdog: representations of what they are and nothing more. Our own imaginations about who they are will be far more interesting than what the author writes.

We already know how each fight is going to end. This show relies on great animation, comedy, and its interesting characters to keep it exciting and relevant.
