Now that's much more like a TMNT movie, compared to the last one.

Shredder is no longer a Transformer,
The Foot Clan are ninjas now, not just random guys with guns,
Bebop and Rocksteady + Rocksteady in a Tank !!!!!
New Turtle Van / Truck,
Casey Jones,
Baxter Stockman,
Alien spaceships, strongly teasing Krang.

Pretty much everything a TMNT movie should be really. Looks like they are trying to please fans, fixing the flaws of the last movie, at least to some degree anyway and looks like it should be much more entertaining.

It does look like they are taking a good amount of feedback from people. Especially considering that they tried to make them aliens in the first movie, allegedly.

I have to admit, that was far better than expected. I'm being cautiously optimistic. It certainly has a better tone to it, more fun and exciting, and I'm interested to see what Dave Green brings as a director (the previous guy, I thought, handled action kindly badly and the staging of the stuff in the trailer is already outclassing it).

Almost feels like a soft reboot in a way. It's strange that they're going with the cartoon Bebop and Rocksteady so literally but had to redesign the Turtles completely.

That was a pretty good trailer! I'm loving the changes so far, though it'd be better if Fox was recast.

I wonder if they'll give Leo some love this time around. He got crapped on a conspicuous amount in the first one.

I'm not expecting Shakespeare, but this at least looks like they understand what people wanted from the first film and didn't get. To a degree, I mean this trailer could showcase more turtles than we get in the movie (ie more April again)

This looks pretty fun and the characters they're adding look great.

The humor was mostly bad in the first one, but the action scenes were spectacular and Megan Fox was actually decent.

First one wasn't quite right and completely fell apart by the end. I think this one will be mostly the same. It really just needs to take Bay's money and run, rather than try and pay homage to his Transformers franchise by using it as a template.

first movie got the turtles right... but not much else. hopefully they fix that with the sequel, because this trailer looks like a lot of fun.

Wow; uhmm. When you take it for what is is (A silly kids movie), this looks extremely well done. I liked the first movie well enough, but this looks like it's even better. Definitely a more fun and lively atmosphere, which the first film really could have used to make it great.

And way better then that awful Batman Vs Superman trailer.

The turtles still look like ass but the action was great in the first one and the trailer makes it look like this one won't have the nonsense too serious dragging plot that the first had.

Gotta admit: I fell asleep during the first one.

But this one has me at the nostalgia: the Turtle "van", Rocksteady and Bebop, is that the guy from Key and Peele or Tyler Perry as Baxter either way I dig it, Dimension X, and school girl April O'Neill.

I actually loved the tank waterfall part. So ridiculous, the look on Rocksteady's face as he's firing the rocket as it emerges from the water. So ridiculous it's badass.

I really hope this movie brings in not only the scifi elements of the Krang and alien ooze, but also retcons the crap out the first movie and has the mystical/magic elements from the source material with Shredder and Splinter being reincarnated and shit

Night and day man, night and friggin' day

I think that's just the lights/filter in that scene. They are just as green if not greener in the film.

Splinter punishes the turtles:

Here's from the attack on the sewers:

This all seems like a placebo effect.

I don't know if I'll see this in the theaters, but I have a message for young "who the heck are Tokka and Rahzar" me:

They're coming.

Loved the first, will probably enjoy this one too. I didn't need 80s series aesthetics though. It's my least favorite adaption. Still - can't wait to watch with my son.

I remember it being the opposite.

It was the opposite in one of the cartoon episodes, as I too remember the Turtles saying "It's Rocksteady and Bebop!", and I've watched a lot of Turtle toons in my younger days. It is typically "Bebop and Rocksteady" though. I'm trying to remember which episode it was in; It'll probably come to me in my sleep or something.

I don't love the design of the turtles all that much, as I'm not sure why Donatello is wearing pants, but in general it looks like an enjoyable movie sequel.

This actually looks pretty good (for what it is) and I'm a bit annoyed because after Transformers 4 I promised myself I'd never pay money to see something Micheal Bay had anything to do with but... it looks fun and might have fewer lame plot twists than the first one ... I mean the batting average on turtles movies is kind of 50/50 here so I'm almost willing to give this a chance.

It looks like it will probably be more enjoyable than Batman V Superman at least.

The first was fun. Loaded with problems though. I could tell Megan actually enjoyed being in it, but she's not good enough as a lead. I will say I don't mind her playing April per se after seeing her turn, but she still wasn't good enough. Luckily Arnett and the turtles proper were enjoyable enough to support her, but still. I didn't even mind the story focusing on her and the relationship with the turtles, makes it kinda personal and there's something sweet about it.

My biggest problem was the pacing. They tried to keep it super short while telling an origin story and packing in a ton of action into the last 20 minutes. Instead of feeling full, it just felt like a quick sampler platter. You go from this downhill snowy mountain sequence to back to a city setting in no time flat, and while the Shredder fight was cool I felt like it was still a bit too visual driven rather than by the characters, in that way it wasn't as good as the climax in the first live action one. I'm comparing apples and oranges but I can't shake it.

Still, I thought it was fun and a decent introduction, but man if they can fix the pacing and if Megan can give it like 10% more the sequel could be really good. I noticed Judith Hoag is in the cast and Steve Jablonsky is scoring, so I'm immediately more excited. A new director doesn't hurt either. Super pumped to see that it almost seems like a live action version of the cartoon, which is about the only way elements like Rocksteady and Bebop are gonna work.

That... actualy didn't look bad, early CG aside.

Except for Jones. Whoever is playing is not pulling it off.

They absolutely nailed Bebop and Rocksteady, though.

Yeah, they are hitting all the notes for this one out of the park compared to the first one. It's my childhood on the big screen!

Looks like silly fun. I like that BB&RS are in it, but thought they looked strangely more cartoony/CGish than the other CG characters do.

The first TMNT movie was a bit strange. I watched it, going into it expecting absolutely nothing -- Didn't like it at first, then it started to grow on me, but closed things out with a boring third act. In any case, it was better than I thought it would be. I liked Megan Fox in it, too. Will Arnett was underutilized in a horrible, obnoxious, unnecessary role that gave him nothing to work with. Way too much screentime was given to a character whose only purpose was to oogle Megan Fox creepily (which would probably be okay if he was funny, but he wasn't).
