for those of you who watched rocko's modern life, do you remember this character?

Absolutely!

Really surprised that the theater I'm seeing it at Thurs night still has two showings not sold out. And on Friday all but one showing are still open for tickets. Figured everything would be gone by now on the day of release but I guess people still have to work, etc.

HYPE!!

I wonder how many people will be in attendance at the 1:50am showing my group booked.

There will be 23 of us, so at least 23. Obviously the theater will have far more heads than that, but I'm just wondering how many empty seats there'll be. It's 1:50 in the morning.

I would have gone that Thursday night but I do have to work Friday. So instead I opted to go see the movie on Friday at 7:30 after work.

Is it assigned seating? I notice a lot of those don't sell out if there are only crap seats left.

Nah it's general seating which is weird. The local IMAX is sold out for days so maybe that's why. There are other theaters around as well but still. I just hope the energy level is really high when I'm in line, that's always so much fun!

If that was one of my only options, I'd go to it. So I guess it depends on availability. With a movie like TFA, time of day makes NO difference to me.

12:06am here

I will hype for you

Hype! 5 hours for me. I feel like the next few days will actually go fast. Going to be watching through Rebels, watching Ash vs. Evil Dead, hoping the soundtrack leaks, and yes of course drinking.

Ughhhh can't believe it. I figured at some point we'd get a continuation I just didn't know when, and its like days now. Also like 99% unspoiled. I know basic things like character names and a few things here and there but all mostly officially released info.

With the prequels I was spoiler careless but I'm treating this like I'm in the 70's and keeping mostly everything a surprise. I want that feel people had watching the droids exploring Tatooine and not knowing what's around the corner. For real, fuck spoiling these movies.

My foursome has tickets for 7:30 pm on Friday, no assigned seats. I wonder how early we should line-up....

Edit: It boggles the mind that the spoiler thread is about 80% more active than this one. [views-wise]

Watch out, everybody. With the premiere happening tomorrow, spoilers will be flowing in social media. We're close.

Yup. Suggest everyone brace themselves on anything related to this on social media. With this being THE WEEK. It's no doubt talk about this movie is going to ramp up aggressively.

In an interview, Bogeya says this fight is brutal. No fantasy stuff, just a harsh fight. Ignite to kill.

He compared the original fights to stage combat, simple but intense, while the prequels were more like a dance

I hope the battle continues the Star Wars tradition of respecting the talents of its villains, particularly in the face of outmatched foes.

Vader toyed with Luke in ESB. Darth Maul took on two jedi in TPM, and Dooku wrecked Anakin and Obi-Wan in AotC.

I'd love to see Ren completely handle Finn before Luke shows up to save the day like a total badass.

A 60 Minutes extra clip showing John Williams conducting the music directly after the opening crawl and more! It sounds great! So cool to hear more music from the film.
God, I wanna listen to it so bad, but as soon as the video started it felt like I was cheating myself.

Got my soundtrack preordered for the 18th, gonna blast that shit for weeks to come after I see the film. Most hype album of the year

Thanks for this. Wow, this excites me infinitely more than any TV spot could. And the TV spots have been hyping me lots. Music sounds like it's leaning towards another classic soundtrack.

Man.. I'm speechless. Can't express how much this video has hyped me for the movie.

Yeah the music sounds ridiculously good. Williams is definitely bringing his A game. This isn't going to be Kingdom of the Crystal Skull type stuff.

Agreed. The lightsaber duel in A New Hope is pretty dull and stilted compared to Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

Its bad and makes both Vader and Obi-wan look bad.
Obi-wan is understandable(he has 2 excuses. Old age and is a diversion) yet Vader should not be taking that long with him.

Daisys acting is alot better in that scene, im so glad :D

He's fighting his oldest friend and they are exchanging words throughout. To me it makes sense that they are fighting in a clean, old fashioned, honourable way.

Kinda just hit. I'm already emotionally invested in a movie I haven't seen yet. Seeing the trailers, tv spots, small clips here and there and seeing that 60 minutes clip with the music.

I kinda feel like I already know the characters. Maybe that has to do with marketing. Showing of John and Daisy as much as possible. Seeing Han and seeing some familiar call backs. I just feel I'm already connected to this movie.

So excited for this. I can't believe it is actually so close to release. Already have the time from work requested off and am driving down to see it with my father, who also got me into the series as a kid.

Oh man so good. The moment you hear THAT theme...

I partly wish they had released the score on Tuesday so I could of blasted it in the car on the way to the showing but then on the other side I want to experience the score in the film first. lol

Ugh after watching that Ford interview on 60 minutes I think I'm starting to piece together why Han is now a true believer in the force.
