Moron should lose his carry permit. Most handguns are drop safe. Would have been better to just let it fall and hit the floor. Or better yet use a god damned holster properly.

The point is, no-one is infallible. We are human beings that are at the whim of things like unpredictable emotions, road rage and/or total clumsiness. That's why it's generally a good idea to not outfit every average joe with a firearm on their waistbelt.

And yeah, the "group" has repeatedly shown that (BECAUSE HUMAN ERROR HOLY SHIT) there will be fuckups. And those are acceptable if there is a countervailing utility. But guns don't have that.

Yea the entire "there are no responsible gun owners" idea is based on the fact that the toy they're collecting/using is so incredibly dangerous that anything but perfect responsibility is unacceptable and no one can be perfectly responsible 100% of the time.
It has nothing to do with the people involved and everything to do with their toy obsession.

Actually it is, at least here in Texas. If a store posts a notice following state guidelines, someone carrying a weapon on the property can be charged with trespassing.

A reckless discharge of a firearm is a felony in the state of Minnesota. This person is not going to be able to do this again, that's the good news.
