Sheamus and Reigns put in the work. Better than their program deserved
Just finished catching up with TLC. Overall, not the shitfest I was expecting, so I'm pleasantly surprised.
Best matches were the bookend ones and the pre-show, but still solid work throughout with everything else. Diva's match wasn't as good as some of the more recent ones, however Charlotte's Flair-turn is working for me and she sounded less...you know...porny when yelling.
Reigns needs to drop the dead-lift pronto though. He can't do it properly and it makes him look ridiculous. I think that's three times he's done it now and each time he's looked out of his depth doing it.
Now to wait for RAW tomorrow evening and see if they can sustain the momentum from the post-match "wild man" spot.

I've watched two weeks of NXT (free trial, wanted to see what the hype was about) and I didn't even see the champion until the second week.
That was refreshing.
Edit: As a returning fan, everything about NXT is refreshing.

Lots of different things but mostly that the creative team will probably think they did a bang up job last night when they in his opinion, did not. Also the fact that the only follow up he sees them doing to this is a promo with Roman/Steph which IS CERTAIN DOOM.
Yup, NXT does this really well.
It's either a jobber match or a meaningful match. Makes every time they show seem important.
Also, contenders rarely lose all the time like on Raw. Like Sheamus losing all the time. Who cares for that?

Yup I found it on Youtube and turned it off after 1 minute because I knew where he was going. I don't need to hear 11 minutes of how they're gonna fuck it up. I watch the fucking product, I know how they're going to fuck it up.
He's right that Raw will open with Steph's music and we'll all groan.
The cool thing about that is when contenders or champs do lose matches leading up to a special, we know thats important and shocking! It will elict the proper reaction rather than "Oh the heel champ actually sucks at wrestling" or "Babyface gets screwed again, damn he/she is a stupid idiot!".

I was reading one of Stro's random 80s reviews and he said that 1 hour is the perfect amount of time for a wrestling show. He's not wrong. Although I'd say they could stretch to 2 hours on the main roster and still be fine. 3 hours is at the root of so many problems right now.

It does but there's s lot of good things NXT does that Raw could do regardless of time.
Like not having your champion losing every week and building matches.
But the 3 hours are a problem for sure.
