We are so close now
I will unsubscribe anyway when there are people who have seen this movie. The crowd for star wars is way to big to ensure that there arent evil/stupid people who dont use the tag.

Only one more day to make it through, so happy I'm seeing it at midnight on Wednesday. Staying off twitter, any online games and anything with a comments section until then.

That's my #1 as well. One of my favorite songs of all time.

#2 is the Throne Room/Chorus gig in ROTJ. #3 is the track from the asteroid chase in Empire.

Yup, those two are also great. And Battle of the Heroes. And Han Solo and the Princess. Screw it, everything's amazing! Hopefully Williams nails the soundtrack yet again.

Oh what the fuck.

Did the marathon with five buddies. Starts at 4am Thursday. Called the theater to ask what time they allow folks to line up (since seats are not assigned, and I want to sit with my buddies, obviously), and he replies "10:30am tomorrow."

Wednesday morning?!?! lol, he said they've already had to turn several folks away. :-/

I was gonna get there at like 3am - an hour early. lol, we already have the tickets.

Damn son. I'm so glad I've got reserved selected seating. God speed to all those who have to grab a seat :3

The "Noooo!" in ROTS is bad because of Vader's movements as he says it.

The "Noooo!" in ROTJ is bad because it doesn't need to be there.

The delivery of the word in both instances isn't the worst thing about the situation.

I liked it in ROTS, its a great homage to Frankenstein.

I was smart, though... TFA in the marathon plays at 7pm.

I purchased 8pm tickets in the best theater with the best reserved seats you can get, for all six of us, too. So, while it costs a bit more - if our seats aren't great in the marathon, we'll wait an hour to see the newest movie in the best way possible.

Im too afraid to even find reaction out of fear some will have spoilers.

I mean if yall find one and post it here, the ones that are spoiler free, Ill read them, but no way im going deep into twitter for them.
I'm placing trust in NeoGAF to find and post the non spoiler ones. Hopefully that's not a mistake..

Seriously, not every movie needs a well crafted message about life or has to be a learning experience to be good. Movies like star wars are just well crafted fun that help spur the imagination.
But ESB has both of those, which make up some of the best scenes in SW.

Yeah, no way in hell am I going on Twitter or FB.. its so close. I know so little going in I would be severely pissed if I got spoiled now.

I'm basically going on internet lockdown starting tonight until Thursday night when I see the movie. I'm going to be very careful with what threads i visit on GAF

True, but in that video he argues the films have no humanity, are 95% special effects and you can't relate to any of the characters. None of which I can understand.

The thing that always keeps me from hating the ewoks and ROTJ in general is that it's thematically perfect in its fairy tale progression.

The OT begins in a desert where everything is about the power of machine over nature, the middle of the series starts in ice and develops into the fusion of machine and man, of evil and good within the lineage of Luke and he and his father's mutilation and supplementation with cyborg limbs, and the final entry ends on a lush, vibrant world where the wild creatures (good) help defeat the machines (evil) largely with sticks and logs.

Never thought about it from that perspective. Cool.
