That's why having a small idea of what happens is the best way to approach the film in my opinion. If I didn't know a few things, god knows what story my mind would have conjured up.

I've realized I'm not terribly find of the guy in the first film. Hamill's tone/delivery on some of those lines is just a bit unseasoned for my tastes. (Obviously Hamill has become an amazing actor/VA since.)

The #1 reason I'm hyped for Star Wars is that Star Wars always ushers in abbreviated golden ages of space shows on TV. We've really needed one for an eff-off long time, and with The Expanse, Red Mars, the new Star Trek show, and more on the horizon (or in The Expanse's case, already upon us) history is repeating like the pendulum it is.

If one knows the spoilers, they should have enough common sense not to say anything one way or another (because yes or no can be taken as a confirmation).
(Besides, even those who know stuff only know a limited amount. No dialogue has been leaked, only the shooting schedule (and some other stuff), meaning there's a lot of unknowns.)

See, this is why I decided to take the plunge and see the movie on Sunday rather than wait. It'll be the first time since college that I went to the theater by myself, but fuck it.
