Picked up KOTOR 1+2 and New Vegas UE for less than $13. Never played any obsidian games before and I hear KOTOR 2 and NV are some of the best so I'm glad it was all on sale.

As far as my wishlist goes, this is a terrible sale and the one a few weeks ago was better. I can honestly say I might buy nothing this time around.

So is there no more daily deals or any new games that wil be added over the course of the sale?

:(, the main game I was hoping to get on sale (Helldivers) isn't even on sale at all, complete full price.

OK.

Undertale, Kentucky Route Zero, and Ys VI

This is a decent haul I think.

Been eyeballing Trails in the Sky and FF XII trilogy BUT I already own them on their respective Sony platforms so I can and will hold off for now.

Trails is so much better on PC though, I intended to play on the Vita but since it released later in EU I settled for the PC version, I really can't go back. But yeah if you already own it not much point to double dip so quickly.

here's some things

Whis Ys game is the best? I am confused and dont know which to buy...

I personally feel that they are all great games, and you c an start with either Ys I + II or Oath, but I would recommend starting with Ys I + II as it would be difficult to get into it otherwise, and you get to see how much the combat and latter games improved as you progress.

My recommendation to start with: Ys I + II -> Felghana -> Origins -> VI

Oh and anyone who doesn't get Shadowrun: Dragonfall for $3 is a fool.

It's AMAZING. And if you're afraid it's going to be a huge, bloated, time-consuming 100 hour RPG that you won't finish..... you'd be wrong. It's a really tight 20 hour joyride with a small, amazing cast, and absolutely beautiful pacing. PLAY IT.

Gone Home. It's very short, but I really liked it. There's very little comedy though, if that's what you liked about TftB, The Stanley Parable has that aspect covered but is less of a story (check out the demo). Or you can try some of Telltale's other well-regarded games, like The Walking Dead or The Wolf Among Us
I've actually played both Stanely Parable and Gone Home and I did like Wolf Among Us (main reason why I bought borderlands), ever played Dream? That has good reviews and is favored by fans of Gone Home, might pick it up.

Ubisoft is not taking part in the sale? I was thinking of grabbing Assassin's Creed Rogue if it was $10 or less but no Ubisoft games in my wishlist is discounted.

How is FC 3 not on sale?

No Ubisoft games are on sale YET. I think something holds up their sale pricing process usually, because it was the same thing for the Steam Autumn sale and then after a day or two the sale prices appeared.

I'm sure FC3 and Rogue will be discounted soon.

Souls games are big. Get Dark Souls 1 and play it. Once you're in the mood for Dark Souls 2 it will have gotten cheaper in a future sale.

I'd recommend just getting Dark Souls 1 for now.

Just get the first one now, and pick up the second one down the line. It's not going anywhere.

Remember to grab DSFix for Dark Souls.

i'd say wait for it and just get dark souls 1

Okay, I followed your advice. Here is what I got in the end:

Their queue system is so shitty, I looked at it earlier and all the things they showed to me was because they were "popular" even though the vast majority of them were multiplayer only games which I never play.

The problem with the system is that it only works when they have enough data on you, the games you look at / buy / have no interest in, price ranges, genres, tags and people you associate with.

For all that to happen, you have to actually use it, which I suspect is the purpose of adding cards to it.

I removed this from my wishlist recently, but you convinced me to re-add it.

I've noticed some games were cheaper during the fall sale. I wonder how that works? Also, for anyone that enjoys third person shooters may I suggest The Mean Greens?

How is Shadowrun: Hong Kong compared to the two others? I'm surprised the Stick of Truth isn't on sale... :(

Not as good as Dragonfall but better then Returns is the general consensus. It's still a fantastic game and at least really really close to Dragonfall in terms of writing and better in terms of gameplay mechanics.

thinking the same

Thinking about Tembo. Will get Life Is Strange through Humble, most likely. The other games on my wishlist aren't discounted enough to add to my backlog yet.

I need to finish Felghana one day. I beat Ys I & Ii in the span of only four days. :P

... That makes it under $10. Are you guys for real?
When you have thousands of games on your account, paying $8 for a game you're not sure you'll ever get to download stops being as tempting as it once was. I want to get it because it got so much praise, but I see no point in not waiting for a better deal due to the sheer amount of games I could be playing in the meantime. Especially if I don't earn my salary in US dollars.

Start with Oath. It's tempting to start with Ys 1, but it's sort of archaic and might turn you off the rest of the games, which are phenomenal.
Nah, I played Ys 1 last year or so, and it was great. It was my first time with the series, not counting the Ys Origin demo.

Nope, haven't played it. Let me know how it is!

Edit: Hmm, the reviews for it don't inspire much confidence though.

Because I don't expect Toby to ever discount it more than that. It was actually pretty likely it wouldn't happen.

They have killed the fun!I think this may be the first Christmas sale where I don't buy anything.

If enough people take my attitude and sales actually drop then I am sure flash sales and daileys will return.

Transistor for $4 and Grim Fandango for $3. Going to have to buy these.

Just started replaying Transistor (this time with a controller) and it's going a lot better.

I'm only 5 hours into HK and I really like it. Some people said the story was a step backward from DF, but personally I dig it. You're more of a fish out of water reluctant hero in this game, which may be a turnoff for some, and your companions are a very "green" so the vibe is a little more informal this time around.

Really tempted by that 'Why am I dead at sea?' game. The Earthbound vibe and the premise is intriguing.

Perhaps Snakebird as well.
