Simple, yet sophisticated. This really brings a dash of adventure to the bread/cheese sandwich genre that so few are willing to take. I can only imagine how well this would go with a nice glass of Carlo Rossi or Mad Dog.

So today we had some classic Swedish hot sandwiches. Cheese and ham on white sea salt bread. Served with delicious broccoli soup. It always feels weird to have sandwiches as an actual meal as opposed to a tiny snack, but it's nice for some variety.
I'm pretty sure there are way more Americans being incredulous at the concept of breakfast sandwiches than Europeans insulting American cuisine.

In Kuwait - there was no cheap wrapped cheese-like product. We had a wide variety of brands and they were all very well priced.
After looking through this thread - I realised I am closer to EU-gaf when it comes to sandwiches.
Butter & Cheese on bread for life.
No American is astounded by the idea of a breakfast sandwich.
Calling a bit of bread with some toppings a sandwich has been met with amusement, but the dish itself is nothing bizarre to americans.
